Hi Guys, I am really confused about SWAMI's result. It seems when all variables are the same in my SWAMI profile, But I choose (NO) to the white lines on finger I am a GT2 Gatherer. When I choose (YES) to the white lines on finger I become a GT6 Nomad. Furthermore, even though they say that Gluten and Lactose cause those white lines, how do I know for sure that I am Lactose intolerant? are both the Gluten and Lactose tied together? I eat cheese and don't get sick. Also, after cutting out all the avoids, I have no problem drinking milk ( had 200ml/day of fat-free milk in protein Shakes) for the past 2 days. (I used to think I am lactose intolerant cause I had runny stools afterwards ). Around 80-90% of my fingerprints have no white lines; does this qualify to select (YES)? Can someone clear my confusion please |

Correction: actually I can see my fringer prints clearly with my naked eyes, except those parts with lines across or scribbles on the side.(looks like those cuts you get when peeling vegetables or fruits, but not deep at all). again 80-90% clear and vivid. |

Compare the food lists on the two versions of SWAMI. My guess is that they're not very different from one another, even though the "genotype label" changes.
When you say "80-90% of my fingerprints have no white lines" do you mean that only one or two fingers have white lines, or that the fingerprints are mostly clear with only a few visible lines? How many fingers are affected? About how many obvious white lines on each finger?
It seems to me that you should check "yes" to white lines if you do, actually, have some white lines. This shows that you do have some gut damage which needs to be healed. Not necessarily by avoiding dairy and gluten; let SWAMI figure out exactly which foods are toxic for you and which ones to emphasize for healing. Lactose intolerance is another field to enter.
However, if you think that the few white lines you have are actually scars from cutting your fingers while preparing food, and NOT a reflection of your gut integrity, then you should check "no" to the white lines question. |

All fingers seem to have few visible lines on the front but generally more on the sides closer to nails. Some fingers more than others

I guess I should, I am waiting for support team to change the status of SWAMI from intolerant to tolerant.

No way I had too many cuts while cooking. Sure mostly they are from gut damage... After all, I was not following a healthy diet |

Whatever the SWAMI labels you(gatherer or nomad), don't fret. Instead, look at the diet lists for each option & focus on the foods common to both lists, which should have only a few differences. Start with that & keep going on eating better & getting healthier!
Later on you can fine tune your diet. |

Yeah, any white lines mean you should check yes to white lines. Lactose intolerance is another topic. If you have no visible reaction to lactose, then it sounds like you may just be a Nomad. (the cool people! teehee!) just kidding - all you other genotypes out there! |
