Hi, I have been missing from here for way too long, but recent diet changes have brought me back.

I need to know where to go again to get my supplement questions answered? I am a Warrior.

Also, in case someone knows off the top of your heads, is ascorbic acid acidifying or alkalinizing in the system? I'll be doing searches on here for pH related things, but have guests coming and needed a quick reply if possible.

Thanks!

You guys are great!

Ascorbic acid is way too acidic for me so I buffer the powder form with 1/4 tsp. of baking soda in about 6 oz. of water. I've also used sodium ascorbate which is a  buffered form.

Whole vitamin C complex is recommended but I could never tolerate it. Maybe an issue of salicylates/phenols for me.

Also most ascorbic acid is made from corn but there is one I saw made from tapioca. If corn is an avoid for you, that might work for you if you buffer it.
