I first completed the measurements and questions and determined my wife was a Hunter.  I then entered the information in SwamiXpress and asked the software to calculate the genotype.  It came back as Explorer.  I double checked my input and it was correct.  Does the software consider the STRENGTH questions in determining the genotype.   I'm confused

The same kind of thing happened of me. The book calculated me as an Explorer and SWAMI calculated me as a 40% Warrior. It does happen when a person is a close mix of 2 genotypes. SWAMI factors in much more information than the physical measurements used in determining genotype in the book. Don't worry, I"m sure the SWAMI report is accurate.

Yes---and other factors as well. Since additional factors were considered and these factors have a variety of weights a different GenoType might be calculated than was determined using the calculators given in the book.

If you entered something on the SWAMI data intake form, it was most likely used.

Adopted4 is correct in that SWAMI uses so much more data to calculate the Genotype and create the diet.  The book is using only 3 parameters, while SWAMI is using all of the data entered - therefore much more specific to the individual.  Hope she does well while following her new diet.

what fits better in your mind as far as foods are concerned.  For me - I have NO liking of any neutral foods in my Swami.. I know what I like!

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

Great explanation ABJoe. I went from a Gatherer to an Explorer when I used SWAMI.
