I don't know where to point this out, but for the new updates coming I wanted to point out that sometimes people are missing fingers. It would be good to have a n/a choice. Guessing might skew a result too much. |

Just chose composite and it will skip over the fingerprints. |

When I did the SWAMI questionnaire, I had to choose Composite. I had IBS for most of my life and that intestinal damage shows up on the fingerprints. I have several fingers with fingerprints too smooth to read. They are gradually emerging again and when I can read them, I'll edit my SWAMI. |

That raises another question about leg lengths and amputees. How would somebody with both legs amputated be able to measure for GTD or SWAMI? |

Just enter the information you can get... It will make the best assessment given the known information... If there are any specific questions - contact the store for further information. |

Oh my experience with full arms and legs, was that I measured nothing.. I was one of the early ones that could call in to the early sign in for Geno book support, and with just my few questions was able to be typed, and typed correctly. I had my blood typed, my hight, my weight, and so I think in the MEAN TIME just enter what you know and see if it comes out close enough to what you like to eat. People most often can tell what they are, just by likes and dislikes of certain foods and so get close enough often enough.
I had forgotten about that early service. But in the end, or the beginning of one's JOURNEY here, a call to the office should be enough as well. They are all helpful. |

That's very interesting, Goldie, what you say about how what you like to eat can be a consideration in determining (or perhaps finetuning) your type. In my case the only defining factor between "Teacher" and "Explorer" was my secretor status (which meant I was a Teacher). When I checked the food lists for both, it was clear to me that I gravitate much more toward Teacher anyway, based on food preferences. So it actually confirmed my genotype for me. Sorry for the off topic, I thought it was an interesting thing you said there and I wanted to reply before I forgot |
