SWAMI is driving me up the wall. I decided to enter my weight again since I have lost more pounds, and I have many, many food changes. If someone isn't working on this thing to update it, there is certainly something badly amiss! Foods moving to neutral, or avoids, foods added, rating changes....... I am wearing out my printer trying to get a valid copy that I can depend on. I am all for updating, certainly, but no one seems to know whether it is being updated or not. Can anyone find out? It is a pain to stock our kitchens with allowed foods, like we haven't already been through all this at least two times before, and then find that the ratings have changed.....

Maybe we have a ghost residing in SWAMI that is playing games with us. I can't believe that peaches are an avoid for me. Grapefruit nearly kills me so far, and peaches make me feel wonderful. I am going to run the thing again and do a malware check on it.

I lost ten items of fruit rated diamonds and super foods. Actually, only a few groups escaped fruit basket turnover! I made only a single change in my profile to decrease my weight. At least I hadn't planted anything that will be an avoid now!

Bob nearly always knows whether SWAMI is being worked on.
It is past 5 so I presume he is not in at the moment.
If you are working during business, SWAMI has built in support. Just click on the "SWAMI Support" tab select "SWAMI Tech Support" and then follow the directions on the page to start a chat session.
I just ran SWAMI Xpress, I see no changes in the diet report.
Nearly always changes in a diet report are not from changes in the product, but from changes to entries on the data intake form.
So if your report is changing you may want to look at your settings.

I have not changed anything AT ALL in my settings except what I mentioned earlier. There was no reason to change anything. I am doing well on the diet I have except for a couple of exceptions, so why would I? Oh, but be assured that the very items I do have a problem with are right there bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as DIAMONDS! I am not a newbie using computers by any means. I am in total shock that this has happened. Why under the sun would rice milk become an avoid? Software can cause any number of problems. Otherwise, it could be written and there would never be any need for an IT anywhere for maintenance! For instance, I haven't been able to hover the smilies to see what they actually are for some time. Everything else except this problem today work fine. I can hover anywhere else on the site with no problems.

Grapefruit and paneer cheese. Grapefruit makes my stomach hurt like crazy and so does paneer cheese. I can eat cottage cheese but it has lost diamond status. It isn't so much that these two foods are a big deal right now, but when I lose ten fruit in one swoop plus the diamond status on over a dozen more, I start wondering exactly what AM I supposed to be eating! I thought everybody knew that cherries were good for joint pain, but it has been taken from being a diamond to neutral. Joint pain is plainly selected in my profile.

Thank you, Jenny. I feel really confused to say the least. I have not tried to contact Bob since C_sharp indicated that he wouldn't be available until later.

How do the geno-harmonic foods work for you? Do you have any health issues to be being dealt with now? What is the pain from them like? Do you feel your insulin reception is really good? Digestion well?
To tell you the truth, DoS, I am so out of sorts right now, I could hardly tell you up from down. I have worked outside for hours this afternoon and evening in ninety-degree-plus heat and am exhausted from that - plus I have a pile of other paperwork to do. I have checked this thing several times. My entries are all exactly the same except for my weight and hip measurement. This happened when I had only entered my new weight and has consistently stayed the same every time I have checked it since. I am tired of spending money on something I shouldn't eat or isn't the best choice for me! As for the pain, I think my stomach is still healing from all the Greek yogurt I ate before I realized that it was what was causing my problem. I'm hoping the grapefruit will be all right for me after this healing is done. I'm not sure about the cheese. Cottage cheese is not nearly as bad, but that is not a diamond anymore. ---After I finally found some that I can eat that doesn't have cream or a ton of salt added to it. I feel like I can't win. Stress from this is undoing a lot of the progress I have made. I was very happy with how well I was doing. I wish I had never looked at SWAMI today.

I usually just download a copy to my computer instead of printing it out every time I redo it. You could always just print the little shopping list and don't print the whole report. It's in a pdf on my desktop. Easy peasy.
I can see your frustration though. Changes can be irritating. Especially in quick succession. I will tell you this though, no matter what your swami says, you may have foods that are diamonds or superfoods that can make you feel lousy. Either they are doing some cleaning or they're just not good. And only you can figure that out. Not a computer program. At least that's my experience.

I totally agree with your statements JJR, SWAMI is absolutely worth every penny and the closest to perfect food recommendations, but it is not a one size fits all. Dr. D'Adamo does mention in the GTD book something to this effect [paraphrasing], my book is on loan : to be honest...to do a truly individualized one per person would be a vast work as there are so many individual parameters to be met...
I am very pleased with my SWAMI but I know that I cannot eat any wheat products and it gives them to me as well as a few other things that can make my mouth break out and my insides miserable. I stick to what works, omit those that cause a problem and voila! I'm a happy camper!
I totally agree. It's probably the best diet out there, but it is still not tied to your body with electrodes or something, taking in every change and what not.

OK, I have a question. I periodically check my swami to see if anything has changed, due to reading posts by others on the forum for the past few months. Today, I changed nothing on the intake data and decided to have a whole new print out...( I have only my original printout) My original one was 49 pages and this one was 26. It left out the calculator choice/ interpretation/strength test inventory, etc. It also completely changed my genoharmonics from global remethylation to cellular detoxification. Thats ok if its better for me but I am confused.... Note...I asked swami to select everything for me as I always do and changed nothing on my intake, so..???? Any ideas?

Thanks, C-sharp! I did set it to compute best ...twice! It now gives me cell detox instead of global remeth.... Could this be a recent/better change suggestion for me by swami?
The abbreviated report...yes..
OK...will check all, again.

You will notice no changes have been made recently.
This is because a new version of the software is under development. That version of the software has not yet been released for general use.
When the new version of the software is released there will most likely be a whole series of updates needed to cope with small issues missed in the development. But currently they are trying to make sure that most bugs are caught before release to minimize the number of changes users will have to experience.
