My Swami does not specify portion size for beans under Vegetable Proteins. Should i use the same portion size it gives for nuts/seeds for beans?.
Thanks! |

I understand seeds to include legumes, as they are the seeds of the bean and pea plants... |

I use 1/2 cup portion of adzuki beans. SWAMI says 6X weekly, sometimes I do 7X. Adzuki beans are great for the liver as well. It balances the blood sugar, great fiber and I soak and sprout them for a few days before I cook them. I do 4 lbs. at a time and it gives me enough for the month. |

Csharp, Thanks for the link! Looks like i'm not the first one to be confused by this!. It looks like there is not a definitive answer on this one. Maybe the answer is to call NAP to get this figured out once and for all?. If i don't know the answer by Monday i'll give them a call and post the answer here. I'm just surprised this has been left in limbo for so long!. Oops! I just realized that i posted this thread in the wrong section, mean't to put it in the Swami Xpress Section. |
