Makes sense - the grains can't stick together...

Well I swear it's like that little bit of oil seeps into every little rice grain and makes it a little greasy.  But again, I'm using WAY less than the recipe even calls for.  I think for a cup of rice the lundberg instructions say to use a tablespoon of oil.  I mean, it would be like gooping all around if I use that much.  Plus I'm not really sure I want to eat that much oil with it right now.  I probably should.  But I add butter once it's done anyways.  Yum.

That's an interesting theory, but I'm not sure I totally agree with it.  Because a very large percentage of my superfoods are Diamonds.  Or maybe that's why I am losing weight.  Hehehhee.  But rices of all kinds are diamonds.  Oats and the oat bran are both diamonds.  Same with meats.  Lamb is a Diamond and it's the highest in calories out of any of the meats I eat.  And it is oh so good.  Mmmmmmm....  In fact, I'd have to say that the highest calorie foods are diamonds, if I went down the list.  But regeardless of that theory, I think I'm better off eating the whole grain, as I'm pretty sure I need the carbs too right now.  For weight gain.  So, this has been an enlightening moment.  !!!!  I won't buy it then.  I'll just stick with the normal ole oats, steel cut, and different rices.  I just ate one of the lundbergs rice cakes for snack today, compared to the quaker state.  And they're twice the calories and fill me up just a hair more.  Not a whole lot more to where it's bad.  At one time, they used to be hard to digest, and the quaker state ones weren't.  I think when my stomach wasn't working so well, that's how I adopted those.  But I'm going back to the lundbergs now.  Because twice the calories.  And it's probably a better product anyways.  Although they're more expensive, but you get twice the food!  Nice.  And I don't think they're twice as expensive.

I remember reading a story that Dr. D. related about someone eating all diamonds and looking like someone anorexic. Is this how you look!?! Bran is the last thing you need to be worrying about eating right now if you do!!!!!

I think I'm about 10 pounds under the recommended weight for my height.  Or 8 pounds right now.  It was 11 pounds a month ago.  My goal is to hit 140.  But I'll be ecstatic to just hit 130.  And 120 will make me smile big.  I'm 5'8".  I used to say 5'9", but I think I shrunk about 3/4".  He.  But like I said, so many of my foods are diamonds.  And I do eat neutrals also.  I really don't eat avoids.  I don't think the struggle has been eating too good a food for me, moreso than just the quantities.
