Concentration of butyric acid does vary significantly in cheeses. Some varieties have a lower concentration of butyric acid than milk or ice cream.

C_Sharp - this is such a great article on butyric acid and it's relationship to fiber, I'm going to post this link in the thread I started on Sunday regarding Suzanne's blog about Type O's and grains. Thanks.

Thank you, Lola and C Sharp.  Dr. Nash has prescribed Intrinsa in the past.  I am so many other supplements right now to support the amalgam removal that I could not possible add another, but I will add this when all of the amalgam has been removed!
