I'm pretty sure I read apples are a low glycemic "healthy" fruit.  Should have followed up on that since it really isn't true.

When I am done eating and finally wish to be finished, I have found that 1 GUAVA, from a can washed of all sugar, keeps me happy.. it is a small fruit and Diamond.. for me the ONLY fruit on Swami that is Diamond but I can not find fresh..

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

Apples are an avoid for O nonnies. I know they're an avoid for me on my SWAMI, and I think Goldie shared in an earlier thread that they were an avoid for her as well.

Consuming "avoid" fruits are likely to lead to cravings, no matter what the GI of the fruit itself.

They're not avoid for me.  But they still make me hungry.  It gets my stomach acids going.  I think they keep me regular too.

Apples are bennies for me. So I will keep on eating them regularly even if they make me hungry. A cup of tea half hour later and all is well.
