Does anyone know anything about taking a pinch of salt first thing in the morning to help with low blood pressure?

yes, I put 1/4t sea salt in my water, before drinking, My blood pressure is roughly 103/53, this is roughly where it stays most of the time. My doctor says this is my avg, so not to be concerned.

Would your BP be even lower, without the salt?

It has been 93/52 in the doctors office, but I felt fine, and he wasn't concerned.

I use sea salt on all of my food and it helps a TON.  My BP would typically be in the 80s over the 60s, and my naturopath recommended using more salt on food (which I never did before) or doing 'salt shots' as you describe.  I salt my food now, and yes it has helped a lot with my BP!  I am not nearly as frequently lightheaded etc.  I don't have access to a BP machine anymore, but when I started it went up to the high 90s over the low 70s...somtimes I even broke 100!!!    Right now it might be a bit higher still, but it feels just right.
