Hi everyone

I've just completed my swami today.... apparently I'm a TEACHER (not a Warrior as the book indicated, and not an explorer as I thought I was) anyways...

Some people on the message boards have mentioned that they are a percentage of different genotypes, my Swami doesn't indicate what percentage anything I am? It just give me the Teacher diet report. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any SWAMI advice anyone can give me, i'm a little bit confused and surprised by it all! Better go and change my status to Teacher....

The smaller the percentage means the more SWAMI has done for you in creating a personalized diet.

The percentage indicates how well the published Teacher profile in the book match you.

This is an intermediate step, SWAMI goes ahead and calculates a personal diet based on the data you entered. If you had a 100% match (no one does), you could just use the diet in the book.

Since you do not have an exact match, SWAMI adjusts the teacher diet to meet your needs.

If it helps you understand I measure a Warrior, Swami makes me an Explorer and Dr. D himself put me on a Teacher diet for now to heal some old ills.  Don't get hung up on titles...titles just help you see the big picture...your plan is now very individualized...limited to you only.  Enjoy!

and I like the way Dr D put it!
Quoted Text
the percentage is not how much 'you' are 'it'.

The percentage is a measure of how much 'it' is 'you.'

This is by far the simplest, most comprehensive explanation of the SWAMI percentage!

This should be enshrined somewhere - perhaps even in the text of the SWAMI report.

Many people (including myself) have had a problem with this, this too should be part of the SWAMI instructions, or in bold somewhere or something.

don t see a problem, if you can run swami as often as you like!!

once Abbreviated, once not, once color or gray, and what not.....

It's not really a problem Lola, SWAMI is great and I love the fact that it can be run over and over again-that makes it worth a lot in my opinion, it's just that it is easy to skip over the "abbreviated" choice and if you do you miss so much valuable information.
