I just ran a SWAMI with Deep Blue geared for cancer management for a type A friend.  White potatoes were listed as Diamonds, and had been marked "blue" for cancer (as in they're good for cancer prevention).  Has anyone else heard of this??

deep blue is a swami pro variable......think you should ask Bob for guidance

Quoted Text
It is to do with the lectin activity...changes in lectin activity occur when the body is fighting disease. Some lectins can help Natural Killer ( our natural defence) cells to recognize and fight harmful bacteria or abnormal cells (tumors) and are to use only when you need this help.some type-specific lectins can show a preference for abnormal cells, so if you may have some of those, their negative reaction to your type becomes positive because it targets the cancer cells. Aberrant expression of lectins in the disease state was indeed how Dr. D
explained this.

Just hope every A with cancer doesn't think white potato is a superfood. Eric used SWAMI Pro to get these results.

So, what you're saying is that one cannot generalize that particular SWAMI result to all Type A's with cancer. Have I got it right?

Yes Fernando, this is a highly specific program run on a specific person.

Thanks for your help!

So does this mean that I shouldn't use deep blue if she doesn't actually have cancer?  Just trying to prevent- she's Type A, has 7 whorls and her mom had breast cancer.

I undid the Deep Blue AI feature, and everything looks normal!  One thing though.. now tomatoes are on her beneficial list!  How can that be, as a "Red Flag" avoid for As?

SWAMI rating do not have to correspond with BTD ratings.

Tomatoes are neutral for A nonsecretors on BTD.

MIfHI                            I follow a SWAMI diet.
