Hi and welcome.

The SWAMI will be individualized for you. The GTD is more generalized for a larger group of people that generally fit your description. Hope that makes sense to you.

how about finding out more about your individuality?
a complete serotyping panel perhaps?
gives you your subtype among other interesting results, like MN status and RH
or simply a secretor test

Mine turned out the same way. But SWAMI made more sense, to what I was feeling with certain foods...

I was happier on the BTD than the GTD.  Then I had my Swami done which was a blend of the 2 and fits me perfectly.

Swami has made weight loss both easier for me and more successful.

BTD and GTD were both eliminating my digestive issues, which helped and was worth the time and money (very little of that) that I spent.  Swami beats both of those hollow, as far as I am concerned.

Everyone is epigenetically different, so everyone will find differences in their experience of the diets.  Few, however, will prefer GTD to Swami - once enough information has been put into Swami.

What kind of information does SWAMI ask for?  Is there an electronic version to download after purchase?  Does it work with Linux?

The GTD is what happens when you try to squeeze SWAMI into a hard-coded book. With SWAMI you essentially write your own book for yourself.

BTD vs GTD vs Swami.  After taking the test at http://www.dadamo.com/which_diet_is_right.htm I determined I should be on the BTD.  Does Swami change all that?

Swami is more individualized, it takes into account your medical and familial medical histories.  It gives you a diet that may actually be the btd/gtd sort of combined.  It really is kind of fun to do!

Did you read Dr. D's latest blog posting?  It talks about the btd/gtd/swami in more detail.

You can download pdf version of the diet reports you create, but there is no software to download.

You run SWAMI from within a web browser.

I regularly run the SWAMI software on Linux.  I have tested it on the following browsers: Firefox, seamonkey, chrome, and Opera. I recommend FireFox, but it runs on all the ones I listed. It should run on others that I have not tested.

and once you possess a swami, you can run it as often as you like, it evolves with you, according to your needs

Thanks for the info.  If my wife wants to run a SWAMI, can we do that with one purchase?

A Swami login is a one-person deal.

Since it will adapt to almost every need, and you can re-run the diet generator when you get new information, it is the best buy without going to a practitioner’s office!  You will have the help of many people who have been using with their Swamis for months on this board.

Swami gives you the best diet out of at least tens of thousands of possible variations.  BTD eased my stomach, GTD got rid of my digestive issues  , Swami enabled me to loose 50 lbs (so far)

The right advice is Everything!

You'll be getting a clamshell case with some info about SWAMI Xpress and a small card that has your account number, username and password.

It would be easy for NAP to just fulfill by email, but distributors and retail sources want a 'hard version' that they can sell as well so we just did things that way.
