Swami changed my life for the better...I didn't think that this was possible since I was already doing so well on the standard/generalized (not personalized) book version of the GTD plan.  But...again I was wrong.  Remarkably, with the new focus on detoxication as determined by my Swami...I feel the improvement, expecially in my gut.  Digestion has improved and foods that were added ie. cabbage, that I thought would cause boating do not.  Wow...I'm so impressed...again, Dr. D has worked another miracle in my life.

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

Lola...Can I use only a bit of pineapple juice to start the fermenting process?  I don't generally add salt to my food.

That's what I thought.      We look like brother and sister.. We're both Italian..Maybe that's showing?
We're also the same age.. And Martha was standing right there about 5 feet away..lol. when I had Sharon (another Warrior) take the picture!

Lola...I answered my own question about using pineapple juice in place of salt to ferment cabbage.  My internet research strongly advises that adding salt is necessary to keep undesirable bacteria from forming during the fermenting process.

the lack of sea salt in your life might be what is causing the goiter issue

balance is key only choose the best sea salt around, like grey SS or other of your choice......your cells need it

I use coarse grey SS from Provence - just a few grains for a 52 oz jug.

It makes chugging that quantity of water possible.  In a day, three such cups is a lot of water to drink!

Rex, there are some excellent quality, finer grade sea salts available now.  You don't have to get the cheap bulk sea salt.

Some worth looking into:
Himalayan Crystal Salt
Redmond Real Salt
Celtic Sea Salt
and there are others, as Paul mentioned.

A good sea salt is very rich in well balanced minerals, making the cells of our body very happy.  Not necessary to use a lot.  Just some every day to keep things in harmony.

Victoria...thanks for the information.  I've been reading about cabbage fermentation and to be honest, I'm a bit afraid to do it myself because if I do it wrong it seems as though the process can result in a harmful product.  I'm probably going to pass on this.  I did notice salted seaweed in the Asian Market.  I'm thinking about trying it.  I'm thinking that this is a sort of fermented food product...am I right about this?

who knows which type of salt was used in their process!!!
seaweed doesn t need extra salt!

I d stick to nori or other dried seaweed instead.
