I've read through alot of the posts so much my head is spinning and I'm still confused so l'm here looking for direction.  I'm sorry if it is redundant!!!

Ok, so I filled out SWAMI last night (pending secretor status).  The two questions I had a hard time with were the wrist circumfrence and tendon visibility.  Apparently my wrists are different......on my left my fingers overlap and on my right, they just touch.  When I changed ONLY that one value...I went from an Explorer to a Hunter.  Same thing with the tendon visibility.....they are slightly visible...though that may be just from my viewpoint and it depends on if my hand is open or closed (more visible when closed).  But when I changed that value to "visible"...I was a Hunter.

Now according to the book...well.....I got 20 points exactly for both Explorer and Hunter.  I really think I could probably be both but DD says that you can only be one.  When I read the descriptions, they both resonate with my personality and body type.  So I am torn......

I haven't printed my food choices yet and so I'm thinking that in the end, it may not matter??  So any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Erin

what would you then be, knowing your secretor status?

did you find out your taster status yet?

try all options first

Remember that whatever the big 'label' the program gives you, the diet is uniquely yours.

There may be only subtle differences in your food lists based on those changes. There are many who have found they are on the 'border' between two labels.

Fill in your entries as best you can. If you decide later they need to be changed, most of them can be. Offhand, I don't think either of those two are time locked.

Compare food lists. See what the differences are. The secretor test results may make a bigger difference.

Concealed Carry Gatherer! SWAMI Explorer Blend

SWAMI calls me an Explorer, but the diet I got is not as restrictive. I still think I am 1/3 of each O genotype.  On the 'daily tips' for GTs, I have more characteristics of hunter & gatherer than explorer.
So on my avatar area, I say SWAMI Blend!
Enjoy your diet & see how it works.  I like mine better than the gatherer diet I had. There were only a few things that were dots that are now OK, but they make it so much easier on me(broccoli, sweet potatoes, beets, carrots, chicken)!  I'm sure I lost some others, but they are in categories where I had other good choices. [BTW, the 'concealed carry gatherer' means I thought I was a hunter, & hunters have guns, not that I have one(altho I support the 2nd ammendment)!!]
As for the points in the GT book, I got the most for nomad, which is impossible for an O.  Those are helpful indications, not things set in stone.  Actually, our diets are not set in stone.  As we improve our genes, we may have a few changes over the years!

Thanks all!  I printed my food list and you were right....there are lots of things on there that were not on the list in the book (YEAH - CHOCOLATE IS A NEUTRAL!!!) Many of them were on the Hunter superfood list and so I must be a blend.  I will send out my sample for the secretor status tomorrow and so we will see where that leads in a few weeks.

Anyway, thanks for the advice!
