So since I'm allergic to ghee -            ,

I've been putting Walnut oil on my sweet potato and using it for various other applications.  I do use Olive Oil as well but I want some variety.  I also use Hemp Seed Oil, but it is a bit strong for some things.

So, I have not tried these other oils I've listed in the heading.  I'd appreciate anyone's feedback on what these oils are good for.  Are they light like Walnut oil is light, and good for putting on sweet potatoes and in salad dressings.

Thanks much all!

I have to buy these oils online!    I found rice bran oil on Amazon and Black Current Oil on iHerb.com  I ended up not purchasing Chia Seed and Perilla right now but both can be found online.

It turns out that Rice Bran oil is wonderful with a very high heat point.. so I'm looking forward to frying with that.

I'm following my Swami.  I didn't know there was a BTD Swami and a GTD Swami ???

I got Rice Bran Oil at my Health Food Store after I saw it was a diamond on my SWAMI.  I've used it with my stir frys as an alternate to my ghee.  I've also added it to my blender drink once in a while.

there s just a swami, which in fact can either compute a BTD, a GTD or a mix of both diets for you, depending on your individuality and health issues.

no one said there was a BTD swami.
glad you are following your own swami by now!

heard rice bran oil is a great sunblock as well!

I only know there is a Swami.  I don't think one can say.. give me a BTD Swami or a GTD Swami or a mixture. I think you put in your information and like you indicate it gives you what is best for healing and continued health.

I do know that, although it tastes like fish oil by it's own   , cold pressed flaxseed oil is good on toasted bread.

It should be good on the flaxseed bread that C-sharp posted. Now that is the way to get plenty of flax in you!

Yup the pro version can.

WHat the heck?  A 'pro' version?  I just sent off for the Swami.. no mention of a pro version?  I'm depending on that Swami to customize itself to what my body needs.. I have no idea if I need a GTD swami or a BTD Swami!!! a bit confusion for sure!

the pro version has been working for years, not for the general public but to be used by a practitioner.

express was created by Dr D for all lay people like you interested in having a personalized diet report, and meal plan with recipes and all.

once you input all your data into your swami, and let swami compute your GT,
it will determine what system or combination of systems is best for you...
imagine Dr D at the controls!! it can t get any better than that!

I liked Rice Bran Oil when I bought it. I didn't note it having a particularly strong flavor, so I used it as general cooking oil.

I was just looking for "diamond" oils yesterday and added some rice bran oil to my Azure Standard order.
I'm glad to see it seems to be a good one.
I plan to use it as a general purpose oil. It's a lot cheaper then olive oil @ only $15.70 a gallon. I have not seen any Chia or Perilla yet but I haven't searched too hard

I bought my roasted walnut oil on Amazon, didn't look for chia seed or perilla seed oil.

Chia seeds have lots of omega 3's, so that would be a very healthy oil to use raw.  Cooking with it would be a bad idea, though, as it would destroy those good fats.
