If you are sensitive to sugar, eating more fruit than suggested might give you some problems. Trying eating a bit more protein or green leafy vegetables instead.

Every time you get the cravings, have a big serving of water, rinse your mouth, have some more water, wait a few minutes busying yourself with some other activity, physical or mental, that does not imply eating. Then if you still feel like you have to eat, have a good look at your lists, all your food groups, which is the one that is missing from your diet today? Grab something from that group, tiny amount, chew well where appropriate, sip slowly, make the process of eating conscious so the body registers is getting the nurishment. Are you stress? Doing enough physical activity?, I heard Os need to sweat it out ... Some days are worse than others, environment stress can play havoc with our resolutions and good intentions.
Unfortunately for our old self being, but fortunately for the self being we aiming for, there are no shortcuts. Old habits die hard, but the new ones being developed are worth the effort, they are the ones driving us to optimum health. Good luck with your conquering efforts ...
I don't think you are going to destroy your progress, but you can knock yourself down temporarily. My gatherer daughter experiences quite a set back when she occasionally binges on fruit. Many gatherers have had good results by eating a can of salmon when cravings hit. Also, Brighid mentioned on another thread to use Rhodiola when cravings are a problem. Both of those are helpful.
I like the Rhodiola spray by Yellow Emperor. It is more expensive than most tinctures but is many times more concentrated. Even a single spray under the tongue is felt very quickly. It helps with fatigue and burn-out.

Brighid: Hmm... it very well could be the sugar. Maybe I should try half a serving of fruit at a time. If I can only have 3 cups a day (3 servings), is it considered non-compliant if I have SIX 1/2 cup servings instead?
Cristina: I've tried the water thing (my husband suggested it) and it makes me even more crazed, . Poor hubby.....
However, I AM stressed and I am not exercising heavily at the moment. I am also wolfing food most of the time (I know it does not help..... I've got such bad habits! ). There is often very little time to eat at work. A lot of the stuff is non-compliant, so I have to specially dig up something to eat... which gets wolfed if I'm rushed. Then I get home and wolf because I am wound up....
Darn those bad habits.....
Victoria: Wow, where do I get the rhodiola? I eat more meats when hungry, but there must come a limit..... I'll eat a whole chicken or over a lb of beef and then go pick through the fridge looking for sweets.
It really might be stress because when I am not wound up that's generally when I am RELATIVELY ok

You can order it from the company I provided the link to. Or, if you have good natural food stores where you live, I recommend shopping by phone to check for availability and compare the price to the Yellow Emperor website.

ok thanks, I have some rhodiola in my hunter supplements, I've heard it works for stress, but I did not know that it also has the added benefit of reducing cravings.
Also I think that stevia might trigger cravings in me too. has anybody else experienced this?

I have not noticed any mention of the live food category. Perhaps try focusing on getting enough servings of vegetables every day for a week (and do not stress about the other portion sizes and frequencies) and see if your cravings diminish.
the thing is I eat ALL my servings from EVERY group and then am starving still..... I eat more than 7 cups from the live foods group.
That's the thing, I am still hungry towards the end of the day AFTER I've exhausted my portion/servings limit. I don't even binge nor do I necessarily overeat at a single meal. I'm just always hungry and eating all day long
Could it also be that my body NEEDS more of certain stuff right now because it's been so trashed throughout my life??? I mean for several years I suffered an eating disorder where I really did not have the chance to absorb nutrients and prior to that all I ate was packaged stuff like mcdonalds and cookies/snacks and stuff like mac & cheese
Should I try to FORCE myself to eat the set servings (seems like a futile battle because my body is not happy with it) or should I just do what my body wants me to....... my body is NOT interested in avoids or black dots at all but mostly just diamonds or supers

Okay, to be honest when I started the SWAMI diet the sizes were much too small for me. I just tried to scale most categories up proportionally. Someplace I read that you could have as many live foods as you wanted so I treated those as unlimited. I had problems with carbs so I did not increase those.
Once I was on the diet for a few months, I noticed my absorption of nutrients was better and I no longer had to eat as much food. I never starved myself on the diet.
SWAMI does have some settings you can use to have it print larger portion sizes and greater frequency.
One is you can up activity level. (this may affect other things as well--I have not tested intensively-but it does increase total calories in a day)
Your Activity Level:
The other is Portions Size and Frequency in the last section (C. Preferences) (This is a safer place to make changes)

Sounds like you need to build up your friendly intestinal flora.
Poor to little nutrient absorption cannot be remedied by more food.
Cars need oil changes and oil filter replacements. The macro elements of food are just like the gas for a car, but the micronutrients are more like the oil. Poor intestinal flora is like a clogged oil filter; if no oil gets past the filter, the engine is not protected by the oil.
No matter how much good oil you put into the engine, the filter must be changed for the engine to benefit. No matter how much good food you eat, your intestinal flora must be improved for the your body to absorb the nutrients.
The mass market yogurt-borne probiotics probably will not do the job since you are type O.
