True, but the guidelines do need to be there. Nothing to adapt really gives you nothing with any certainty.

From my Swami: GT4 'Explorer' (Blood Group O Non-Secretor) Food choices emphasizing hybridized BTD and GTD values Portion Size: Nuts, Seeds: quarter cup; Nut Butters: 1 tablespoon Frequency: 5 servings weekly.
I assumed that the beans, lentils, and pulses were more in the nature of nuts or seeds rather than nut butters.
I take 1/4 cup of lentils (dry measure) as being a serving. I have been using that as the vegetation ( ) portion of most of my breakfasts each week. I do occasionally add 1-2 cups of peas to a stir fry to bulk it up (usually the turkey/onion/ghee). Whatever the beans’ measure is, I will be changing my habits.
My weight loss goal: 220 lbs.  A 6'4" dyslexic oddball: the size of a line-backer, the silhouette of Winnie-the-Pooh.
