Finally, entered all my SWAMI details and came out GT1.  So, excited...had trouble with finger measurements as they were crazy close...we measured, re-measured, checked and double checked.  The GT book would have thrown me into GT2 with the final measurements, but my SWAMI came out GT1, I'm supposing by taking into account all the combined factors.

Do have a few questions for anyone out there willing to take a shot:

1) I've noticed that others have been talking about being a % of this or  % that and wondering why not mine?  Is it due to lack of secretor status?  I have the test on-hand, which I'll be sending off this week, so wondering if that will change when I plug in the new info.

2) Not sure I understand the genoharmonic foods...some of the foods listed on the the left side are neutrals.  Am I to understand that combining those foods with some or all the foods on the right will make them superbeneficial?

3) Is it permissible for me to change the data in the SWAMI
to run my husband...or would that violate the terms...sorry, that agreement is way toooooooooo long to read all the way thru.  If I change the data will it make my computer explode or the program not work?  I have read a few posts where people run other people in their SWAMI, so when I bought it I assumed I could also use it for my husband.

4) Also, I've read posts of people's status changing...is that due to adding data that had been previously omitted?

Thanks, in advance to all you wonderful people on the community board--the information and support here is awesome!  Especially welcome in a world where the vast majority of people think you are crazy for looking to the diet for healing and thinking outside of the mainstream box.

If you do not have a percentage this means you did not allow SWAMI to calculate your GenoType. Instead you specified the GenoType that you wanted to be. Specify "Determine GenoType For Me" if you want a percentage calculated.

GenoType:

This will violate the license agreement.

Plus there are a number of fields that you cannot change.

Therefore it would only work if your husband:

Was born in the same year as you
Has the same gender as you
Has the same blood type as you
Has the same fingerprint patterns as you
...

Also from changing data that was entered incorrectly.

Great--thanks all!  It's new and I just jumped in running and probably missed some of the details.

As C_Sharp said, if you allowed SwamiX to calculate your genotype, you should find the percentage listed under the Results section in about the 4th page of your report.

How Exciting!!  it is so much to take in at first, but then everything starts making sense and falling into place.  Keep on asking, we all been through it ...

PS:  I have got a SwamiX for my DD and I am thinking of getting one for DH and DS.  They invaluable tools to have at hand ...

Think I must have missed something, because my report basically goes right into the foods--can't find a percentage of anything?  Just the basic front page that says, TYPE O Hunter GT1, Secretor Status Unknown...

Robydoo, make sure that in the Preferences section (when you are editing your data) in the option 'Print abreviated Report' you have 'No' selected.

That should then produce the full report that includes your GenoHarmonics Food groups, supplements, food lists, results etc, etc.

Also, make sure that all computed fields are set to Compute best (like in Preferences and in tab no 2: Serotypes and biomakers allow Swami to calculate Genotype for you).

Christina, thanks so much for your very caring support!

I just figured it out--had an incorrect setting in report type--I changed it and got the details...whoa!  55% Hunter--Interesting that the GT book would have thrown me into G2 with the finger measurements (index longer on one hand/ring on other hand).  But all the strength testing said otherwise.  Then, in Dr. D's Hunter dissertation, he said that the finger configuration above is most often the case with Hunters?  Wonder if the book has an error, or did they just have to be more general for some reason?  That really through me for a loop...

Very excited to be figuring it out and seem to have more food choices with the SWAMI...so happy to have cabbage back as a neutral!  I'll have to start a thread on kimchi recipes...'cause I love the stuff so much I wanted to start making it.  Never followed through because BTD had cabbage as an avoid for O.  Yay!

Glad got sorted out!!  GT book is more general while Swami will have taken into account a lot more variables about yourself.  So it is more specific.  Your measurements may make you GT2 according to the book (which in itself is right), but when weighing those measurements with all the other variables that make you, you, Swami places you where it fits best in relation to the appropriate food lists.  Your lists will also be a hybridize combo of BTD and GTD.

Regarding Kimchi, I attended a course sometime ago on how to make it, not only with cabbage, but also fruit.  The fruit kimchi is delicious!!!!  I will keep an eye for your thread and if different from the recipes I have, I will post mine too.  Looking forward to it!!

I am off to the movies with DD tonight, so in the meantime, have fun with  Swami and post any other questions you may want to ask.  I will check this out when I come back and if nobody else has been to help, I will try my best to do so.  Do not wait up though, the movie starts 9:15pm tonight in about two hours, so it will be a late night!

Thanks, I must have posted while you were posting!  I probably should quit burning the midnight oil here it's 1:22 a.m...I just got so excited with the research and all...my poor hubby went to sleep hours ago.  We've genotyped him with the book...he is in great health and weight, so isn't really into getting SWAMI'd for the price...he'll follow the diet to humor me--I told him he may be in great health now and doesn't have to be strict with it if he doesn't want to, but from a longevity/age/optimal health standpoint, he might want to consider adding more diamonds and limiting avoids...

Honestly, I'm not at 100% either, but I do have some issues that I want to overcome, so will probably be pretty compliant a good 85-90% of the time...just knowing what is good for you and what is not is a powerful tool.  I've already benefited in a huge way.  I know when I'm not compliant, I get achy and achier, and if I continue down that path, I just suffer.  However, I also know when I get back into compliance, I feel much better and the aches disappear, energy soars, etc...it's a beautiful thing.

Thanks for all your help!  Hope all is well with you there...off to get some sleep.
