Yaah!!! I got brussel sprouts back per my SWAMI.. Ate a delicious cup tonight. Sauted them with turkey bacon, onion and garlic with a touch of maple syrup, cooked until they were a lovely golden brown. Ohhh CR@p. I forgot I don't have a brussel sprout song!!  Tommorrow I think I will sing the happy cabbage song!!!!  |

I love love love brussels sprouts. I cut them in half, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle some sea salt on top and bake them at 350 for about 30-40 minutes... They get sweeter when baked. And the outer leaves get dried out and a little crunchy. OMG...I have to go now...need to buy some brussels sprouts. My mouth is watering. |

I used to love those too. I loved when you could buy them at Christmas in those big net bags - I had a bag on my desk and would eat them raw like sweets. I really believed I was doing good too... {sigh} |

Oh I love Brussel Sprouts too!! I had two huge servings in a nursing home of all places, last July (you'd think if any cooking could ruin them it's be institution cooking  ) Now that'd be a spur on to get swami done  So happy for you!!! |
