I have deliberately not written in my food types here, as of course everyone will have different headings--for instance I do not use meat as a rule. The evening meal may vary a lot in the main dish ie turkey, vegetable protein, fish, and the number of times a product is used per day or per week will cause differences in the chart. After one week of use, ticking off after each meal, I would not be without it. It shows me where I have difficulties eg in the use of oil, and if by chance a miss a heading at a particular meal it gives me the grace to substitute it as a treat later.

Thanks for posting this Jenny, I have not had time to go in depth into the food planner. When I first started, it was giving me some erroneous values, but since the hiccups have been fixed. How long did it take you to set it up? Are you using the recipes from it, or you are just using the shell it produces and then you type the info yourself? Tell us a bit more if you do not mind ...
Ps: Is this your own layout, or is it something produced by using the Meal Planner in Swami? My questions above assumed you are using Swami Meal planner...

I haven't used the official food planner as I don't have the right browser to download it; the above is my own concoction. I started off by making a list by hand of each food type (ie carb, veg protein, poultry, fruit, live food, oil, beverage,) x daily or weekly, and filled in the blanks in a logical way. Doing in pencil first to enable a bit of shuffling, it probably took only half an hour to complete. I have not taken recipes into account as they will make it very difficult to adjust to the system, and as I usually cook in a simple way from a handful of ingredients, it is possible to follow this chart quite easily. I can't imagine being without it now. When I do a fancy recipe I will try to enter the ingredients into the chart.

You must have been posting as i edited my post above, after going back to meal planner to check I could not find your layout.
Do you keep this in a book/notebook.
Now, it makes sense. It is a great layout, simple, clear. I sort of use something similar, but not as formalized as yours. I keep the lists of food categories posted on my fridge/pantry with stick me up type of paper next to them to tick food items I use. Mine is very informal and I should get into something like yours, so I can have records to go back to. At the moment I remove and throw away the stick me ups when full. With the prospect of changing diets, I may have to be more formal with the recording of what I am eating.
In answer to your questions Cristina, I print out the layout from a Word Document (although if I had Excel I would use that). You will need to create your own word document with your personal headings which are totally related to your swami report, if you want to use the above layout. It fills a whole A4 page, with a small space at the bottom where I will eventually put in the harmonics. (ie the ones that appeal to me, not all) Having just completed my first Monday to Sunday, I am about to print out next week's empty list. I will keep the completed ones in the back of my clear sleeve folder where all the pages from my swami are residing. The one I am working with sits on top of a kitchen shelf. Sorry to hear you may be changing your entries..have you found some more data to enter?
