My question is where do you finid vinegar free mustard and mayo? I have been to several health food stores looking and can't find any. I am a A+ nonsecretor teacher and I can't have vinegar under either diet. Even the soy mayo has vinegar in it and that is on my superfood list. Ketchup I can make myself without vinegar, but the other two I am not sure how. Any help???? |

I use tomato paste and dilute it with a little lemon juice and if I want spicy I add horseradish. |

It's really easy to make your own mustard and mayo. The only drawback with homemade mustard is you have to make it more frequently, it doesn't keep nearly as long as the storebought stuff. Homemade mayo is a bit trickier to make, but once you get the knack it's no problem. The secret is to add the oil as slowly but steadily as possible. If you're able to be patient, you'll get great mayonnaise |
