It will soon be a year on this and although my clinicals have shown tremendous progress, on both Warrior and Teacher GTs, the shifting of my weight is still stuck or moving very slowly.

I have been doing a bit of soul searching too, trying to think back in my history, where I came from healthwise, how did I look when and compare to what I am doing now ...

I had mentioned a few times before in different threads, maybe even here, that I was very slim and fit when younger, doing all sort of different sports and then those excercise hours were substituted by work hours and with less and less time to exercise the kgs built on and on.  ... and the yo=yo dieting syndrome started, playing the catching up game and never quite getting there, doing more and more damage ...

I came to this way of life with low iron anemic labs and high liver enzymes.  I fixed that with both the Teacher and warrior diet and nap supps including B12s ... in a very short time ...

Up until today I had not marked that in my Swami, I used the excuse that my labs came right, therefore I should not tick it ... but now I am wondering if that was just that, an excuse ... and excuse to stay as near as possible to vegetarian diet as I could ...

Remember? I was vegan when I came here, but that was making me very sick ... I have glympses, when I first run Swami marking those history details, it game me Explorer with a lot more meat than Teacher and Warrior ... I did not enjoyed that feeling then ... and started playing with personalities and taking things that were cured, but if I  do that, then I should also take my digestive problems of the past away ...

So, I am relaxed, evolved higher in the levels of acceptance and run Swami indicating my anemic and liver history, using my INFP or ENFP or INFJ personality results depending on the tests taken, indicating visible or not visible tendons and it presented me with a GT4 lifestyle.

Meat 3 x per week (Lamb, Mutton, marrow broth)
Poultry 2 x per week (Turkey and a few other flying type in SF with chicken neutral)
Eggs 6 x per week with the surprise that only the egg yolk from my chooks are SF (plus goose eggs and quail eggs) and my chicken whole eggs and egg whites are now neutral ...
Vege proteins had been reduced to only 5 x per week (from at least 10x before ) ...

Many other changes in Live foods, fruits, carbohydrates (I get to keep my beautiful spelt) dairy and drinks (coffee downgraded to neutral!!!) ...

All these food changes are fine, to be expected, they are food I mostly grew up with, including the meat and I was never fat as a child or young woman ...

The main change in lifestyle comes with the exercise requirements: The need for Explorers to sweat it out!!! With the Warrior and Teacher types I hardly sweat, in a way forcing myself to take it easy because that is what is recommended ... but, is it right for me? Now I wonder if that is the missing link in this journey and why the weight is not moving? although I had been very compliant!!!...

So, I am ready to give it a try ... I am changing my regime. It is an overnight  diet change, but I am easying into more vigorous options with the exercising regime ...

No buts, no doubts, it is not open for discussion, it is just happening ... I am giving GT4 a two or three  months trial, depending how I feel ... if the weight has not moved by then ... then  at least I will be able to compare the time spend on the 3 possible GTs I can be and decide which one to keep based on which was the one I felt better with!!!  Win, win situation ...

Off to change my Avatar ... and to sleep off the excitement I am feeling about this, can't wait to see hubby's face in the morning when I tell him my Teacher evolved into a Explorer and as such the pantry and fridge are having a makeover ...

It sounds like part of the learning process...  Good for you to evaluate and reassess as necessary.  I'm sure that you will know more in several months.  Keep notes.

So interested to see what happens to you!
When I strength test in the GTD book, I am just about inbetween Teacher and Explorer!
Good luck, kiddo!

Cristina well done you!!!  I think it's important to tweek Swami - especially if you're not sure.  I reckon this latest development could truly be the missing link for you - I'm so excited and can't wait to hear how you get on

Just yesterday I adjusted my Swami to include history of digestive problems.  I had heartburn/indigestion/bloating/wind almost constantly before BTD/GTD/Swami and I don't know why I didn't tke the box to start with  .  Anyway, now I have a lot more cheeses back to neutral and a few have moved up to Super or Diamond (including my beloved parmesan which was a black dot before) in addition to quite a few changes to meats (more diamonds/supers) more poultry (supers/diamonds) and fish (supers/diamonds).  Instinctively, these changes feel so much more 'right' to me.

Cristina - here's to the journey my friend

Thanks AB, Cajun and Andy!!
I am double excited today because I have just ordered over the phone the US National Geographic DNA test kit for my brother in Texas to do.  I have completed here in Australia the mother side of things, but I need him to do the father side of things which I cannot do.  It will take two or three weeks  for him to get it, do the test, send it back and then a few more days / weeks to wait for the results to be available on the net!!

Also, I am doing my first Pilates class this morning at the studio near home, I have not done that for a few months!!!  will report on the fitness thread when I get back

I loved that Pilates class and I can see myself keeping this up too!!!  I just want to point out that although I have been away for a few months (from pilates) I was pleasantly surprised that my body was able to hold the positions and last the session so well!!!  Obviously, the joint health pack supps from NAP and all the walking and activities I have been doing at home may have moved the fluids enough for the muscles and joints to feel relax and supple enough ... So great to be doing this true to type lifestyle!!!

So there is something you cannot do, you very capable person!   I'm happy for you.  Welcome to Explorerhood!  I hope it fits you, or at least you find which one is best soon.  You should know pretty quickly.  It will be easier to cook I'm sure with all those meats instead of the tricky veggie proteins.

I've thought I was the other two genotypes too, so it doesn't surprise me.  I wonder what Dr D would type us as?  You're spurring me on about exercise but I have to take it easy because fatigue kicks in at the moment.

About G - she's back at school PHEW! and nose swelling is better and she's going to ENT next week.  DH NEVER wears pink and eschews girly colours so a pink robe was a good look!    The rain was great for the garden, the bugs and the birds are having a field day.  Fog this morning, what next?

Yes, I know!! the fog hit Cullum Beach last night and it tried to get here, but I think it was a little bit too windy and got blew away pretty quick.  Very early this morning was around though, they talked about it at the Pilates class too!!

Poor little darling!! I hope everyone at school is very mindful of her!! She is probably enjoying the attention too!  a little bright side to the episode!!

Nice to share the GT with you Symbi!  Interesting times ahead!    Trying to learn the new lists ... identifying new benes and diamonds is the cue, the rest is fairly common for all As ...  I ordered the GT4 pack, good timing because my teacher ones are nearly finish ...

Well done on the exercise regime Cristina   Those last few pounds are going to just fly off I bet!  Happy Exploring too!  And on the Explorer discovery I forgot to say - meat is great!!  But then, I'm a Hunter and me like meat

Symbi, glad DD is better and back at school and I hope all is great at the ENT appointment as well.

Right, I've done 50 tummy crunches so far - time to hit the aerobics now.......
