I understand that it is early days but I am disapointed with my swami - reasons - as it is being sold in Europe, England etc I would have thought there would be more English foods shown - it is still very American and quite  large lists of foods given are not available here which is very frustrating. Can we look forward to this being changed at some later date?
Best wishes to all - we keep trying and learning

Why not list the foods that you wish to see listed?

Thats a good idea - thanks Dr. D. I'm off to the shops now! Just found it frustrating to see such large lists of lovely foods and I am only able to buy three or four in the list - my diet is already quite boring! It  is mainly the fish lists and the live foods I have difficulty with. Another question my weight is fairly normal only by sheer hard work and avoidance of carbs. By nature and eating all the foods I wanted too I would be a stone and a half heavier - would this make a difference to my food lists?
Best wishes

Probably effect your portion sizes more then the food lists

Fish are a problem. Even in the states local names are not consistent. As you go around the world much variation in fish names are noted.

Some local fish are not in the database. But others are there and one just needs to convert local names to the names that are in the database. Most of the food names in SWAMI come from a USDA listing.

Here are some sites to help convert the fish names to what is used locally.

Here is a short list of "American" food names and their British equivalents.
