I don't even know if this is allowed, but perhaps there is someone out there who used SWAMI, then stopped using the GTD? Is it possible to buy a used SWAMI at a cheaper price?
Since I don't know how SWAMI works, please tell me if this is a no-no, and feel free to not post or to remove this post. |

no, it is a personalized diet report.....
Quoted Text
Some 'unchangeable' fields, such as blood type, will 'lock' an hour after the initial form is completed. This stops someone from using one license to run diets on all their friends and family members.
Having had to do that, I also feel that everyone else should have the ability to further develop their SWAMI intake data as their bodies and/or health histories evolve. So I left a lot of the intake form unlocked. These unlocked parts let you continue to add additional or new data, then print out a fresh diet appropriate for those new circumstances.

So if I found someone with SWAMI who was an exact match to my blood type, they could run it for me?
I have a feeling I'm going to be hard to GTD type. |

There are a variety of settings that lock shortly after you enter the data. This is to enforce that people abide by the license agreement.
The product is intended to be used by one user. License agreement prohibts rent, lease, lending, or otherwise using the product to SWAMI an additional person. |

try the teacher diet for a couple of weeks.....as written in the book. you will definitely know if it s right for you, follow it strictly, choosing diamonds and SFs to make it worth while.
if you were to be the other GT you think you are, the diet will not seem right, and you can switch. no biggie!
I started off eating according to gatherer, now I m following explorer swami.....
you are still eating a wholesome and healthy diet, no matter which, as long as you re in the right GTD according to your BT.

Thanks Lola! This makes total sense now. I was wavering between the Nomad and Explorer diet. Now I will take your suggestion and try each for a couple weeks and see what happens. I will be buying the SWAMI soon. Until then, I'll try Nomad first and then explorer. |

A lot of us had a hard time for a while figuring out our Genotype! Once I tried the Nomad diet, it fit like a glove, and all my doubts vanished!! Also clear rulers help with the measurements. And the advanced calculator at the back of the Genotype book. |

I did switch to a clear ruler - being able to see through it really did help a lot! Where in Oregon are you located Victoria? You can PM me if you want. |

I suppose I should ask - How much does a SWAMI cost? |

oh! I found it. I guess I'm going to have to start saving up!
Does the SWAMI allow you to plug in all of your diagnoses and health concerns, known allergies/sensitivities, and so on??? |

the list is quite extensive, yes. it is all in the form of check boxes, where you answer yes or no... not much typing on your part, remember it is a computer program designed by Dr D. |
