Not sure if this is the right forum but this showed up in my SWAMI report. I dont have my gall bladder anymore and was wondering if it is safe to do. I have been diagnosed in the past with a fatty liver as well:

Give yourself an “Overnight Detox” Every Month: Explorers benefit from regular, gentle detoxification cleanses. A simple monthly tune-up for the liver and gall-bladder involves a time honored technique called the castor oil pack, followed by a good sweat. Here’s how to do it: * The day before you do your Overnight Detox, make a point of drinking an 8 ounce • glass of organic apple juice every three hours for a maximum of 5 glasses. * Eat only light foods after midday, such as salads, juices and fruits. * One hour before bed, take two tablespoons of olive oil, followed by 2 tablespoons of lemon or lime juice.** * Now make your castor oil pack. The pack is made by soaking a piece of flannel in castor oil, then putting it on the area of liver (the right side of your abdomen under the bottom rib) and placing a heat source, such as a hot water bottle, on top of it. You can set up the castor oil pack to work over night by using an electric blanket type heater, set to low. This is where I think some additional pointers would be helpful-see below * Next morning, you might be surprised to see green blobs in your bowel movements. Many people think these are gallstones, but they are not. However, they do afford the liver a means of removing fat soluble toxins. * If you have access to a steam room and can get a twenty minute steam in, go for it
I am assuming that you maybe wrap yourself with saran wrap or an ace bandage to hold the flannel next to your skin all night? If I had to lie still all night holding a hot water bottle over an oil-soaked rag on my abdomen, it would never happen.

Even though you don't have a gall bladder you still produce bile, and have a bile duct that could use to be cleaned. You can still get gallstones even after gallbladder removal. Your liver is fatty, I would do a search and see what that means exactly. The cleanse may help rather then harm it by cleansing it gently.
This is a very gentle cleanse it is not harsh. I think I would try it after a few months of being on the Explorer diet, let the diet do some work for you first.

The first time you try it, do the gentler version without the juice/oil combo. I find it very gentle, and can hardly tell much difference initially (unlike the old epsom salt liver cleanse which scared me a bit), but it does clear up my skin and give me more energy.
The linen kind of sticks to my skin as the castor oil is sticky, then I wrap a handtowel around it, then I put on an undershirt and shirt over it. I'm not sure I use enough castor oil, but I've never had trouble with it getting on the sheets or my shirt.
