I started to read though a long post yesterday then got interrupted by RL. Now I can’t find it. So I apologize if this question has been answered.
How and when do we get notified of our free Swami Express that we earned by ordering the GTD packs for over 3 months?
I’ve already had Swami done on me, but I was thinking of passing it on to my son. |

RedLilac:
As Lola said you should contact customer service.
Most US customers that participated for three months in the "do it for a month" free SWAMI offer received their SWAMI Xprees kit in the mail last week (snail mail or USPS).
It might have taken a few days longer to get to the Chicago area than the East Coast, but I would still have expected you would have received it by now. The kit contains a getting started pamphlet, a card with your user name and password, as well as $10 gift card for your next order.
The kit is packaged in a clear plastic clamshell about an inch thick, so you should have noticed the thick envelope from NAP if you had received it. |

I’ll ask my son if he saw it. I’m going to be on the road for work all next week so if I don’t have it next weekend I’ll call NAP. |

Confused about something.
I printed out my SWAMI but I also bookmarked the page, so I could find it on my computer when I'm online.
I notice that each time I go back and look at it, the date and time changes to the present moment.
Does this mean that as Dr. D changes things, programing also change things within my particular report? Or do I have to do something to the report for the updates to be there.
I noticed at one point I was a 45% Teacher but I see it's 43% now.
Are any other things going to be changing on my report without me having to do something?
Don't want to keep printing out the same 50 pages again until all corrections have been made. I can't tell if my report changes from day to day. |

Since I am the type who always thinks I can go back and fix things, I zoomed ahead on my swamiexpress a little too quickly and played with my measurements.
My torso length and leg length are exactly the same and my upper and lower legs are exactly the same, so I altered the measurements by 1/8" to see what would happen, I scored as an Explorer rather than the original Hunter. The following morning I tried different things with my finger prints as I was having problems seeing some of them. I went out and then went back in the program later, guess what, I couldn't change my measurements or fingerprints.
In order to run my reports I have told the program I am a hunter. Is there anyway to open up the measurements and fingerprints section to alter or is it locked forever? |

Whoa...
I just looked at my SWAMI again today....So much has changed...I've got a whole new list of geno harmonic foods (different from the original list I printed out a week ago) and many of my portions have been upped..(which is a good thing!) Some things have been removed like fruit pectin (don't know why that is)..and still confused as to why I'm being asked to eat gluten when I'm gluten intolerant. Or am I gluten intolerant for reasons that have nothing to do with gluten itself?
I am wondering about some of the stranger fish I'm supposed to be eating...things I've never seen anywhere or eaten before...mullet, muskellunge, and Spanish or Atlantic mackerel and herring.
Anyone eating or finding these fish easily?
So far, it's getting a bit easier, however, the variety of foods I'm allowed to eat is daunting...and trying to get a sense of whether focusing mostly on these geno harmonic combos which often aren't all diamond foods is more important than a day of eating just diamond foods. Like some of my foods on the geno harmonic list are just neutrals, yet with other foods wind up being five star geno harmonic meals.
I'd love to know more about geno harmonic food combinations....
And I'm curious as to how few geno of the harmonic foods would be effective or am I required to eat an entire meal using all or most of the foods on the list.
Some of these combos make really weird meals...and don't sound very appetizing together...but... I'd be happy if I knew that eating maybe 3 out of the entire list would be adequate or at least somewhat effective.

I was having major problems looking at my fingerprints, I had to redo them about 4-5 times and have my kid look at them with a magnifying glass. They are pretty faint but no white lines (grain intolerance and gut issues). When I reentered my new fingerprints, and head measurements, I became an explorer with many of the same diet features when I was a hunter!!!
So my percentage is now 40% (up from 36% hunter in previous reports).
This diet feels like an O nonnie diet with a few more grains and less emphasis on chicken eggs. No cheese on this version (I don't like or eat cheese) but up to 6x times per week ghee.
I am still at 3x per week meat, 3x per week poultry, and 5x per fish (down 2 times). The live foods look pretty similar at first glance and chocolate is now at neutral. Eggs 6x per week, but chicken eggs are neutral.
So I am thinking my diet is more tuned toward O nonnie then explorer, lactose intolerance. Wow, changes and more changes!!!! |

contact customer service or here s what C sharp explained
Quoted Text
You will need a computer with an Internet Connection and a Web browser.
A high speed connection will work better, but is not absolutely necessary.
The software was tested with Firefox, but it works with most browsers.
does any of this apply to you? |

Tips on logins:
We need to match the account number, user name, password and account number given on the card.
Be sure to type capital letters for capital letters and small letters for lower case letters. Computers can be very picky on case.
The user name and password can contain both letters and numbers. Be sure to use what is given on the card. Some letters and numbers are easy to confuse. For instance, upper case Os will look like zeroes. Lower case ls often look like numeric ones and vice versa.
Look at the user name and password on the card and see if any character could be interpreted two ways.
Hope this helps. (otherwise customer service will figure it out on Monday) |

Hi, got my SWAMI yesterday & have a question. When filling out the account information beside the Password, and User Name, it says "case sensitive". What does that mean? and can a person change their user name & password to one of their own choosing after they've set it up originally? Thanks. |

I just remembered another question. In my Condiments section it says 1 tsp. - 0 serving as needed. But why does it give me a list of Superfoods and Neutrals if I'm not supposed to have any of them? Or am I not understanding it properly? Thanks. |

When filling out the account information beside the Password, and User Name, it says "case sensitive". What does that mean?
This means when you login you must exactly match the capitalization given on the card. A small letter will be treated differently than a large letter. To you all letter Ms may appear to be the same. For the computer a small m is different than a large M

After you enter your account, username, and password, you are often taken to account information screen where you can adjust username and password. The account information screen is the one where you agreed to the license terms. Other things on this screen - Account type
- Your SWAMI Xpress Password:
- Your User Name:
- Your First Name:
- Your Last Name:
- Your Complete Name:
- Your Email Address:
- Your Street Address:
- Your City, State, Postal Code:
- Your Telephone Number:
- Your FAX Number:
If you do not see the account information screen when you login, You can always get to it by clicking the "Manage Your Account" or "Manage Account" tab. This is located in the top row of tabs on most pages. Change whatever information you want to on the account information screen and click the "Save your account information" button at the bottom of the screen.
If you still have difficulty finding the page. Here is a link: http://www.northamericanpharmacal.com/SWAMIXpress/SG_manage_account.pl(If you are not logged in, the browser will prompt you to login before taking you the account information screen.) |

Thanks again. On another note, I've been trying to go make some changes on my report & go in to see what differences it makes, but when I hit the button to get it to show me, it just keeps processing and the green line at the bottom only goes half way & I never get the report, just a blank page. Is it because it's busy with others doing it or another problem? |

Problem with copy and paste is that people are sent a printed card for SWAMI Xpress by regular mail that shows their account number, username, and password.
So people have to type the information on the computer from a piece of paper.
Usually it is easy--just 3 small sets of letter/numbers. But if you get even one character wrong, you cannot login to SWAMI. I presume there is also some possibility for a card to be printed and the account either never being created or deleted after it was created. |

I got the swamixpress login stuff yesterday and wanted to play around with my profile this morning. Some entry fields are "time locked", what does this mean? |

Some 'unchangeable' fields, such as blood type, will 'lock' an hour after the initial form is completed. This stops someone from using one license to run diets on all their friends and family members.
Having had to do that, I also feel that everyone else should have the ability to further develop their SWAMI intake data as their bodies and/or health histories evolve. So I left a lot of the intake form unlocked. These unlocked parts let you continue to add additional or new data, then print out a fresh diet appropriate for those new circumstances.
Once you license SWAMIXpress, you can pretty much continue run as many diets on yourself as information, circumstances and paper supplies permit.

Dierk: If you need to change some of the values stored in time locked fields, you can contact customer support at NAP and ask that they reset a field value for you so that you can enter the correct information. |

I have the same question BCgal asked about condiments. Portion size is 1 tsp. but the frequency is 0. If I'm not to have any, why do I have a superfood list? My B+ nonnie Nomad husband's has the same problem.
Also, under vegetable proteins seeds and nuts portion size is 1/2 cup which seems high as SWAMI took away all nuts. I have no portion size for beans.
Thanks. |

Dr. D's response to BCgal:
Just a minor bug. ... now it says the frequency 'as needed.'
You may need to regenerate your diet report to see the change. After regenerating mine went from 0 serving as needed. to "0 to 1 serving as needed." If your condiments include sweetners like honey, I would not take "as needed" to mean as many teaspoons as you might desire. |

Hello,
I am an Explorer, Type O+, secretor. Very recently, SWAMIxpress added soy milk to my list of superfoods. Most other soy products are avoids for me, and soy milk has never been better than a neutral. I have sometimes made changes to my SWAMI questionnaire answers, but have always returned to my original answers, and suddenly, a few days ago I noticed that soy milk is now a superfood, so I'm wondering what happened to change this. Is this possibly an error? Actually, I would be happy to use soy milk, but just want to be sure it is really okay for me.
Thanks, Dawn |

once you added all your data into swami, did you also let it compute your GT? or did you also add Explorer yourself? I see you are Rhesus positive as well, and most O explorers are either rhesus negative of non secretors have you done a secretor status yet? http://www.dadamo.com/knowbase/newbie/a.htm |

Hi Lola, I let SWAMI choose my GT. Previously, when I had done Genotype, from the book and from the calculator on the previous GT website, I was a Gatherer, but it just never seemed right for me. Even though I am rh+ and secretor, a number of things lead to my Explorer status ---- liver issues, severe chemical, caffeine, and other intolerances. Yes, I did have my secretor test done a couple years ago, and my results came back as a secretor. I am going to have it done again, just to make sure.
Thanks, Dawn |

Clarification----I was not questioning my status as an Explorer---- I have no doubts about that. I was questioning why soy milk was suddenly added to my superfood list, and if it is truly okay for me.

I started Swami 2 and a half years ago and felt phenomenal. Then I had to finish writing my dissertation so I started up with the caffeine, alcohol and occasional bingeing. Very sad. I'm ready to start again. I have friends supporting my efforts.
I also recently found out I am positive for the BRCA2 genetic mutation (breast, pancreatic and ovarian cancers) so I have all the more reason to get healthy.
I have crohn's disease in remission. I'm 33, average weight, pretty fit... training for a half marathon. Allergies and asthma. O+, nonsecretor.
I will think more about my experiences and comment soon... |

So confused. I paid over $60 US. I got the password and created my account...now it says that I used my one-time user and I didn't even see or print everything. Only one thing - a partial recipe book. I thought it meant single user, not single time use. What can I do now???? Anyone else have this problem? It seems that you all have gone back and changed things and gotten new reports. HELP!!! |

Welcome weezie801:
Glad to have you on the forums.
I have a single use license for SWAMI Xpress.
I access SWAMI regularly and have no problems making changes and generating new reports. (Single use means it is to be used to generate diet plans for one person)
In fact I have edited my data over 250 times!
I have generated several versions of cookbooks, but I find the diet plans SWAMI creates to be more useful.
So if you have not yet generated a diet plan, I would go back to SWAMI and finishing any health data that you have not yet completed, and then generate a diet plan.
You do need to log in again to reaccess your SWAMI account.
As Lola indicates above, if you do have problems logging in, do not hesitate to contact: bobm@northamericanpharmacal.com
The product is designed to allow you to access it repeatedly. |

I have been following my SWAMI for over a year now. I didn't experience any sudden improvement on starting the recommended foods, but about 6 months into it I suddenly realised that my digestion issues had finally improved to the point where I hardly noticed them any more.
I had very little gas and my noisy and unsettled stomach had become quiet and well behaved. The uncomfortable feeling in my throat had finally subsided and would only become noticeable again if I ate too much, which I was in a habit of doing as I had been steadily losing weight I didn't need to lose, to the point where I was looking decidedly gaunt. My weight had finally stabilised and I had gained a few kilos and I was generally feeling pretty good.
However, a few weeks back my stomach started making gurgling noises again and in turn I have started to have diarrhoea on a fairly regular basis. I don't think I have changed my eating habits in any way. I do occasionally have some avoids now and then when I go out to restaurants, but that never affected me that way before, and even on the many days that I am 100% compliant I am still suffering digestive issues, although thankfully the gas problem has not resurfaced at this point and the feeling in my throat is only a fairly mild discomfort again.
My sleep has also suffered a huge disruption which I suspect is due to my stomach being so unsettled.I am also suffering regular headaches of the type I have only ever experienced since starting this way of eating. They became a problem a couple of months after starting SWAMI and then went away until just recently. I have never been particularly prone to headaches throughout my life so I am hoping I can attribute them to something other than my diet, such as my neck for example, as it has been quite sore lately.
I am looking forward to the updates in SWAMI and I still believe wholeheartedly in it in principle, and in fact have just encouraged my kids to purchase it (which they have), however I do believe that the system is fundamentally flawed by the fact that it relies so heavily on the data the individual inputs, such data being subject to the individual's ability to measure and determine so many things that are so incredibly easy to get varying results for, depending on one's ability to do them correctly.
I did my own measuring etc and then visited an accredited practitioner to get her opinion as well, but I found that she was just as uncertain as I was and I still didn't feel overly confident that we had got it all correct.
It is a little disconcerting when you read that someone on the forum has changed one little detail in their SWAMI and they have become a different genotype altogether with a whole new food list. I feel as though there are so many things that I swing between being one way or the other and I could therefore be eating all the wrong foods after all - it is certainly beginning to feel as if that is the case at the moment.

LadyHawk,
Do you think your symptoms could be a systemic cleanse your body is experiencing? Our bodies naturally cleanse themselves of any impurities, usually with the change in weather.

I am sort of new to SWAMI. I quit smoking prior to starting the program and of course gained weight. I live up a hill so I started walking up and down the hill almost every day. I hate the fact that I gained weight. I just can't stop eating carbs (the ones allowed to Warriors). Is it normal to develop a "tummy" with this diet? I need to ask what are the allowed breads for Warriors are they those made of sprouted wheat or Flex seed breads? I need support and tons of help to understand. |

On SWAMI different warriors are going to have different breads allowed. On SWAMI all the Warriors are individual so they have their own diet guidelines. One thing is with this new lifestyle you may want to ditch bread entirely and move onto foods more suitable for you. Although warriors are usually allowed a lot more varieties of grains than other types. Poppadoms are probably good for you. You may want to look at making bread with sprouted rye. Barley loaves may be okay for you. You may also be able to use soy, quinoa, and rice flours to make bread. Here are some bread recipes you could evaluate for compliance: http://www.dadamo.com/typebase.....=abc&header=Name |

Long time follower and devotee. Lactose intolerant from birth and gluten intolerant (white lines on fingerprints). I eliminated wheat almost one hundred percent, because I have major mucus issues. I started with the blood type diet (I have ALL the books), then went with the genotype diet as soon as that came out and yes it was better for me. Just recently I purchased Swami and entered all my details - except the personality test. I was a little freaked out by the results, as I already knew I was an Explorer and have been following the diet from the book for Explorers. Swami advises that I can now have parmesan and romano type cheeses, Soy products - pretty much everything in the range and chicken egg yolk. I have not had any of these foods since I started on the genotype diet - except for chicken eggs which I would have occasionally. I was having natural yoghurt, but it's a "no go" without a black dot. I would love to have parmesan & romano cheeses, but I am paralysed with fear, at the thought of eating them in case this is an error. I'm really just wanting confirmation that these additions are not an error?

Welcome to the forum, fellow Aussie and Lewis double negative! Glad you have been doing so well on the BTD/GTD for so long! Swami won't have made a mistake BUT it cannot take into account every nuance of your bio-individuality. Hence, you may find that one or two of the beneficial or neutral foods do not sit well with you. Your body will tell you if that is the case. Just add in one food at a time and see how it goes. If it gives you trouble, drop it and try another one. |

The white lines are probably why you get the aged hard cheeses (butyrate and caprylate). The "Book" Explorer diet is a catch-all of sorts in that it has to handle all four blood groups, therefore the SWAMI is well advised for those who fall into that category to better individualize your diet experience. |
