I thought I'd start a thread for Hunters to discuss the changes their Swami Express made on the basic GTD and the possible reasons why - which of course I know have to do with health.
For instance... I am now only able to eat 3 servings of meat a week! I am shocked... We love beef. We've been eating it at least 5-7 times a week ever since we started the BTD. The other thing that changed that I'm unhappy about is I am supposed to eat fish 7 times a week. Now I'm not that much into fish at all!
Oh and this kills me.. just kills me... 1 egg only 6 times a week! We eat egg whites and eggs at least 5 times a week and it's not just one!!! I LOVE EGGS. This saddens me and it's not a diamond food anymore.. it's still a Superfood just not a diamond. Tears.. oh the tears!
And GHEE!!!! Jesus Ghee! 1 tsp 6 times per week! What happened to unlimited amounts of ghee for digestive issues which I certainly darn well have???????? |

It's all about individuality. My bet is that you will adapt and like what you find. Did you have high secondary GT2 characteristics? (a guess on my part) I still have yet to start inputing. Will get it done over the weekend if not sooner. Yes, I want to know. A few more days won't kill me. |

Lloyd how would I know if I had any GT2 characteristics? I am overweight... maybe that is why!!! I didn't want to say it but there it is... |

Here's a link to it in the BTD store.... http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=ED070It's a more specific individualized diet plan based on your personal info and the genotype diet. I suspect for some of us overweight hunters, these things will change, whereas ones of closer to normal weights will be different. I am stubbornly 20lbs or so overweight, and I really want to drop them. I know that if I eat large portions of ghee, it doesn't seem to help. But smaller ones are fine. Also, fish and turkey help me lose so far. I also love beef, but I can't tell if I lose with it. I am also dealing with female issues that make me think I am very close to a gatherer. Hey Bailey, you still can eat chicken, that's easy to do....! Do you like Tilapia, it's almost like chicken if you put flavorings on it....? Oops! Lola beat me to it! |

I love Tilapia.. BUT CANNOT get it fresh here. It's all Farm Raised. I bet after I loose weight and re-enter the new number my portions will rise! |

Okay, made a first run.
Mostly unchanged but a few significant changes and a number of minor changes.
Dairy: Cheddar is my superfood/diamond. Lost Parmesan/Romano but had already noticed that the Pecorino worked better for me. Gained as neutrals Feta, Mozzarella, Farmer.
Fruit: A migration to neutrals. Pears, Blueberries, Mangos, all faves, 'lost to neutral'. Cherries gained as neutral. Good since I just ordered cherry-chocolate unibars!
Veggies: Regained Collards as a superfood! Some minor changes including eggplant as a neutral, nice.
Grains: Lost buckwheat. Rice becomes neutral/toxin. Had already stopped both. Gained oats as neutral. Corn went from a black-dot to pure toxin.
Other: Some minor changes. Nothing earth-shattering that I have noticed. |

I will post all of my changes eventually, but for now there is one that really mystifies me. I'm supposed to eat four daily servings of grains. Two slices of bread or half a cup of grains, four times a day for a Hunter! |

The book is 3 per day if I recall. My servings went down to 1 per day, essentially what I had already been doing..... |

The book says portions of 1/2 c of grain, 1/2 muffin, 1 slice of bread, two or three times/day. My SWAMI greatly increases that. I don't think I could get down 8 slices of bread a day, even if there were some bread I could buy to eat. |

There's a place you can ask the Swami to dictate the serving type sizes based on normal frequency/normal portions; normal frequency/high portions... ect... when i put in normal for both, my portions went up slightly. when i just let the Swami choose, I got portions like Lloyd which wasn't to my liking!! |

Are you implying that I'm 'cheesey' ? ( ) Found a few more things. Tomato, spinach moved to neutral but so did sweet potato. Lost Chicory root, lemon balm tea and chamomille teas. Sensing a pattern. In a way it is somewhat intuitive. |

Cheddar is a no no for me. This entire thing is so interesting! But I can have Perconio, Parmesean and Romano which were always superfoods for me but now they are diamonds.
Lloyd you must not be overweight and you must not have arthritic issues... yes?
Those were my main two disease processes and also right now my digestive track is whacked.
It's interesting to see what foods are offered when you are a healthy Hunter like Lloyd vs. one who is not like me!!!
How much of a Hunter percentage did you get Lloyd? |

A couple more things I noticed - I got amaranth, and it's a diamond, along with buckwheat and brown rice. I always felt better eating more cooked grains, so this makes me happy. Also kelp is now a total avoid rather than a superfood. And carrots have become a superfood And apples are neutral which is great. Some things I can't eat because of sensitivities are Superfoods, but I will just choose other things. Mostly though, the changes seem consistent with my own experience.
I'm going to go back and look at the portion selector option. I don't remember seeing it. As is, it's recommending way too much food for me. I've always been thin and I guess SWAMI doesn't like that. |

Healthy if you don't factor in everything that's wrong. No arthritis at least. I'm not as slim as I was a couple years ago. 54% Hunter and I know from a prior analysis that I'm around 30% Explorer. A quickie analysis shows my caloric is set for around 2000 cal/day. Seems a hair light. When I lost all the weight it was done at about 2400+ cal/day. EDIT: Reran with larger portions and it's another couple hundred available calories. Even got up to 2 servings of grain/day and 3 of cheese/week! |

Yikes! Just realized that all lettuce is now a superfood for moi ~ !! EDIT: Lost the cheddar to an 'anomoly fix'. Also noticed that kelp is now a toxin. The other sea vegs are all good, even Irish Moss is a neutral and the rest are superfood. |

Also noticed that kelp is now a toxin.
Is that fucus vesiculosus? or some "other" kelp? That would mean Deflect would be a toxin? |

Kelp is brown algea and includes a number of distinct species.
Bladderwrack (botanical name is Fucus Vesiculosus) is a specific species of algea. Bladderwrack is sometimes called kelp, but it is best avoid the tendency to lump all seaweeds together. |

Seems amazing to me that gluten containing foods like oats become neutral for a hunter. But I see that Lloyds second component is explorer which I guess explains it? |
