Dear Dr. D,
I want to thank you for giving me my life back. I first started the diet about two years ago when I was suffering from the effects of multiple medication including oral, nasal, ophthalmic steroids. I was in the middle of a rigorous academic program and could not function for more than 2-3 hours a day. I ended up leaving the program due to my faculty mentors moving on to different institutions.
I have not posted as much because I had to deal with my next steps as I awaited admissions information in my Ph.D. transfer process. I recently gave my commitment to a program after being offered acceptance.
Due to the GTD improving my health drastically, I am able to continue on my journey and participate in an even more rigorous academic program as a fellow in a highly competitive scholarship program.
I literally owe you my health, life, academic career (and future career path), and well-being!
Thank you thank you thank you! I still have a lot to work on but this wonderful forum keeps me motivated. Even if I am about 80% compliant on a daily basis, my health has improved so much I am much better than when I first started the GTD!

I am in the process of finding a suitable graduate apartment now. The studios do not have an oven! I won't have 4 hour a day commute like I do now. I am looking forward to being even more compliant and cooking at home.

Might want to think about a toaster oven or convection oven for the apt.
At the end of the semester you may find ones that the undergraduates are throwing out. I got my toaster oven this way.
