For 3 months, I have been following the bloody type diet. That's it! 3 months. I'm a type B. In that 3 months, I have lost 70 lbs, taking me to a weight I haven't seen since my freshman year in high school! My arthritis has disappeared. (I am only 33, but my knees have been killing me for years!) I have no more seasonal allergies. I am happier! I feel like a fog has lifted from my brain. It's just phenomenal. I look forward to trying a more specialized profile! |

What did I do before? Well, I ate "healthy". As it turns out, though, it wasn't healthy for a type b. I have been gluten free for several years; that wasn't a problem. I ate a lot of chicken. Tomatoes were a mainstay, as was corn and corn products. My four year old has a lot of food allergies, so I tailored a lot around her. (I have since learned that MANY of her 20 documented allergies are avoids for her type, AB!) The name fits, yes. What can I say? I'm not the most creative person in the world. |

I am rather certain had my mom B eaten correctly (not chicken every day) she would not have had colon cancer.. But for the rest of your story.. : darn it I AM JEALOUS!!! I know how it feels to see results.. Early on when I switched to BTD I lost 20 pounds without effort, but then my body got used to the GOOD life and kept me more or less stable, loosing another 10 years over the next 15 years.. .... which was good enough.. Then recently I went from 172 to 152 - 20 pounds and was just THRILLED by the way it made me feel great.. I understand your feeling happy.. but I am jealous!! I only lost 20 pounds : YET you did 70! that is a great feat!! Congrats!!!!!! and just a question: how many more for you and how many if any for your daughter? so glad you found out that she is different.. IT is sooooo simple once you know!!! BTD is the way to get here.. HIP HIP.. or be hippo? ha ha I am celebrating with you.. are you going to lose more or are you done?? I am going to drop 20 more soon.. and then maybe another 10 in January.. |

Bloody ole diet! Just kidding. Congratulations! That is almost unbelievable! Seventy pounds in three months, and NOT depriving yourself of food, I presume. And how great that you can start your daughter on the right path for her health, too. Very happy for you both! |

Lovethiseatingplan, I see you haven't posted since your posted this thread. I hope you still frequent this board.
Could you please give me a sample day of what you eat? Your success story is the reason my mom and sister are interested in doing this diet. |
