Normally (without my medication) my blood pressure can read near 240/160, but today my GP measured my blood pressure at 120/70! Next month he will be check again and likely reduce the perindropril erbumine + indapamide pills! My agéd parents-in-law were told that they would not ever come off their "water pills", and one has died (essentially from multiple major organ shut-down). After two years of reluctantly taking these water pills, I feel as if I have been transferred from death row, and am now waiting for my release! Ten weeks of taking the weight management package (slowly) and I have lost 15 pounds while getting less sensitive to the avoids that I occasionally eat. At the end of the first month, I noticed an increase of physical and mental energy. Sometimes I seem to have the happiness and vitality I experienced in my twenties. Chores and business activities are easier, and stress does not get me down anymore. I have less than 100 pounds to loose for my ideal weight of 220! Almost halfway there and my weight loss is going faster, this last month. With lower weight added to my individualized Swami diet, the strict limits on cheese have relaxed - this mirrors my recent experience of tolerating a little occasionally without so much weight gain and discomfort. I can see being 220 by the summer of 2012, but I will take it earlier if I can get it! ~ ~ ~ Good Vibrations |

Paul, have you read The Magnesium Factor by Mildred Seelig, MD & Andrea Rosanoff, Ph.D.? You may remember that I have hypertension now too and have just started using Magnesium Oil. Also, I just started drinking Hibiscus tea, which can lower BP by 7 points systolic and 3 points diastolic. Keep up the great work on the weight loss. It looks like your BP is responding nicely. I do not need to lose weight, so I need to work on my BP in other ways. In fact, I just broke through my most recent set point and dropped another pound. Total nine pounds lost so far. If I can loose two more pounds, I'll be about as thin as I have ever been, even prior to having children! |

Fabulous. I was just talking to a friend @ the bus stop & she said no matter what she does (walks miles) & eats she can't lose weight. Next comment was I guess when u get to be a certain age, you must except there's nothing that can be done. I already mentioned BTD, so kept my mouth shut. |

Thank you for your kind words. I guess the my GP is not going to repeat the suggestion of going to the bariactric clinc. Those pills mess up my digestion so I am really looking forward to getting rid of them. Then even more healing will commence. |
