Thanks Symbi!  However, I pass the praise on to Dr. D.

I'm eternally grateful.  I'm a different person and he had something to do with that.  I think that, in itself, is brilliant.

I have also helped a number of my friends get their diabetes in control just asking them to follow BTD, do regular walk, eat roughly at intervals of 6 hours, and avoiding too much food at one meal, and without medicines and suplements. Please also remember the other things besides the BTD, particularly if the blood glucose count is very high.

If I go 6 hours without food my bg numbers plummet rather quickly.  I eat small meals/snacks on a 3-4 hour frequency throughout the day.  If I were to only eat at 6 hour intervals I would likely end up eating too much causing my numbers to rise too quickly.  Again, individualism at work here.  I do agree exercise is also paramount in treating the complications of diabetes.

We have ppl coming into the Health Food shop where I work & they don't want to spend a lot of money & want a one pill for everything fix... I tell them it doesn't always work that easily...& they'll either spend the money now or later when they are sick...

If I could/can I would & do sugest the BTD for them...but of course my bosses would rather I just sold them supplements

OOh!! I made a friend in the hlth store... she kinda told me a similar thing... that is kinda where I'm thinking yeah... THIS is the answer!! ; )  The BTD!!
