Here is my Thank You...

After about two months on BTD, I feel so much better than I did before, especially since discovering my secretor status.  My weight loss is almost incidental (although I did and do need to shed some pounds) to the feeling of well being I have when I eat compliantly.  I don't feel as foggy headed and absentminded.  I don't have headaches and acid indigestion every single day like I used to, and I rarely have sinus/allergy symptoms anymore.  I was beginning to have pretty bad inflammatory pain in my right hand in particular (I'm right handed), but achy joints in general, and that has mostly all gone away now, too.  My skin is less dry, too.  As I keep reading and re-reading passages from LRFYT and the GT book and others that I borrow from my library, I am amazed and truly filled with wonder at how our bodies live and thrive (or don't), particularly how our patterns are set while we're still in the womb.  Little by little the *hows* of BTD are starting to sink in, but even if I didn't understand and just did what I was told, I would still feel the benefits of following these recommendations.  One thing I fear is becoming decrepit and infirm and afflicted with dementia in old age.  I'd rather die before having to live my life out like that.  Hopefully with BTD and eventually SWAMI I will not have to live the 2nd half of my life in that kind of state.  So I thank you, Dr. D., for a pretty good shot at a healthy future, and for the wellbeing I now feel.

I'm losing weight, and today I found out that my triglyceride level dropped from 149 to 117.  HDL---from 31 to 39. And all other lab numbers were great! Thank you Dr. D!  I suffer from Lupus, but no longer have to take anti-inflammatory drugs. I already have some heart and lung damage, but this is much easier to cope with since starting the BT diet. Much thanks again!!!

Recently I had my bladder removed due to cancer. I had intestinal absorption problems after the surgery, and became dehydrated. As I listened to what was wrong (really nothing) I remembered your book Eat Right for your Type.  I came back home from the hospital and put myself on a meat diet with no bread (I don't do wheat anyway) assuming I would absorb meat best.  Obviously, I am a type O.

I got home from the hospital still with major absorption problems on Tuesday and this morning (Sunday) I am having normal bowels the first time in over a month. If nothing else this certainly testifies to the truth of your book.  I try to follow fairly closely, but fail some, but this has been a true life savior for me and I just wanted to thank you. For me, there is a lot of sense in the blood type work/writing of Dr. D.  I am an AB, and had intuitively been eating mostly along the BTD lines, but am doing better refining this by the book.  The suggestions for lifestyle and stress issues are very helpful.  I understand myself and family members much better (I am surrounded by type As)and am able to help them a bit with their health, food choices, etc.  Thank you for all the super information.  If I could be of any help to you, by virtue of being a somewhat "rare" bloodtype, I'd be more than happy to do so.
Sincerely,
L

I'm 40, O- and have been suffering with seasonal allergies since I was a teen. I have tried every medicine on the planet, herbal remedies, neti pot, etc. with no relief. Since I started eating right for my type 5 weeks ago, it's amazing how much better I feel! The only time I experience allergy symptoms is when I ch...eat, which is rare. This lifestyle change is amazing and I wish I had known about it years ago.

‎" I started this dietary change a little over 2 years ago. I was 25 pounds over weight and gaining. I was bloated had stomach pain irritable bowel, thyroid prob's, generally miserable, moody and had lost my zest I guess. Exercise wasn't working either. I read the book and it made sense to me. The first week i lost 10 lbs. Today I'm 25 lbs., lighter and have been told I look much much younger than I actually am.I contribute all this to my adherence to the BLOOD TYPE DIET and my will to be healthier by making better food choices. I have NEVER felt better I share with anyone who will listen!'

Thought I should report on my progress since starting the Digestive Pack, Probiotics and now ProBERRY 3! The bottoms of my cycle are now a day or two max of discomfort instead of severely ill and a trip to the ER (for dehydration after several days of fluid loss) and horrible pains in my stomach and intestines is now moderate to mild. The Intrinsa helps the most but the combined effects of all the above is very noticeable and now I have added the ProBERRY 3 to the mix and would like to save enough for some Deflect next thinking that perhaps lectins in chicken and other "avoids" could be exactly what damages the mucos lining protecting my stomach. So the short chain fatty acids and whatnot are doing their job protecting me from high acid days. In-all a drastic improvement for the better already after only three weeks and after years of suffering! Thanks Dr D'Adamo for the fine herbal blends and advise mentioning specifics pertinent to my unbalanced (B+) condition.

I would like to complement you on your oustanding work. EAT RIGHT FOR YOUR OWN TYPE. THE INDIVIDULALIZED DIET. I always thought it was strange with four types of blood the diet would be the same for everyone. I am an healthy 69 year old, size 4 and keeping the doctors away. My husband and I follow that diet. I am O . Thank you.!!!

Dear Dr. D'Adamo,
I hope I am at the right place to leave you some feedback.
I am AB positive and have been fighting with my weight since I was 10 years old and have tried EVERY diet on record from weight watchers diet to the cabbage soup diet. My mum had a cancer scare with the appearance of some pre-cancer cells a few years ago and after treatment a doctor pointed her in the direction of the blood group diet. She was very religios about this diet she had been advised of. She had 3 pictures of her blood taken over the period of the first year on the diet. The first picture showed up a lot of white blotches and as the year got on she had another taken showing significant improvement. This leads me onto say the final picture taken showed no remnants of the previous white blotches. Consequently she felt better, had more energy and lost weight as well as worried less about the return of these cancer cells knowing she was doing something to "help the cause". Even though I knew about this a while ago I doubted the weight loss being due to the diet and also reading up negative comments on line didnt help with disbelievers making the diet seem very hit or miss. However, it wasnt until recently I found myself really depressed in which my job suffered and my relationship with my partner and parents also suffered. I had a rock bottom low self esteem, I was feeling tired and stressed constantly as well as feeling fat and lothargic. At 65 kilos I started yor diet...
I am now 53 kilos, I feel great and I cannot thank the blood group diet enough. I have loads of energy, I dont think I can remember how to get stressed anymore, I wake up feeling great every morning and feel so much happier and confident in myself.
I have ordered every book you have released relating to my group and consequently have had friends and colleagues asking what revolutionary diet I had found (other than lipo) so I have spread the word and have been introducing this diet to everyone I know even hadvising those not in my blood group. I have told people to find out their types and order their own copies of your book as they wont look back.
I am so grateful someone like you has put in the time and effort to really research what I consider to be the best "diet" in the world only its not a diet in which you need to starve to lose weight but just eat "correctly" its truly amazing. I have made this a complete lifestyle change and I dont feel like Im on a diet. I have been doing this diet for nearly 4 months and havent looked back. I have lost 12 kilos and can provide photos of this.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you so much for the books and guidance you have put onto the market I have never been happier. The money spent on your books is the best money Ive ever spent.
Kindest Regards

Thank heaps DR. D!  I was 85 kilos(5 ft 5), unhealthy with very little energy back in 2002!  The blood type diet reversed that and I felt a million times better!  When I discovered the genotype diet it was amazing- I used the diet to win 2 national bodybuilding titles(classic mens), 2 years running(2008-09) weighing 63-65kg kilos ripped!  I just got swami for xmas and I have already made strength gains!  Your diet and lifestyle advice has been life changing-much respect!!

''Last year I was diagnosed with hemochromatosis, a genetic disorder that my body adsorbs too much iron (ferritin). I had to go and get weekly blood draws to reduce the amount of iron from my system. I was told I would have to do this for the rest of my life, until I came across a book ...called Eat For Your Type. I am A+ blood type and followed the A blood type diet. My iron levels actually normalized from this diet and it has been a year since my last blood draw. My hematologist cannot understand how I am keeping my iron levels down with out blood draws and is skeptical that a diet can control this. I just keep telling him you are what you eat! I think any one who shoots this diet down should try it before they have an opinion. It is also saving me big bucks because I have a very high deductible health insurance plan.''

I was diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. My numbers eventually went off the chart (^600). I read online about the possible connection with food alergies. About the same time I learned of your studies and bought your book. That was on March 08, 2008. Since the day I became a vegan I have never had another flare up. In fact my doctor recently told me it seems to be in remission!

I am simply writing to thank you for your research and your time spent putting it into words. It makes perfect sense to me. It is my Bible.

Hello,
I found the principles of the blood type diet really fascinating and have tried the diet on and off since March 2010. It is hard; but when I stick to it I realize that my digestion is perfect, I sleep better and feel more energized. I am Type O by the way.

I think Dr. D'Adamo is doing breakthroughs in the health field and allowing so many people to lead healthy, nutritional lives ... even if sometimes is hard to stick to the diet

I can not imagine how bad my health would be as I have diabetesll and would have no way of doing what is good for me.. I would have not only no good clue on what to eat but even more important what I would be advised to eat would make me worse and ill on a daily basis,, the importance of having BTD as my guide for many years already is enormous..

Thanks DrD.. JB.

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

Thank you so very, very much for your book, your research and giving your life over to save so many others by sharing this profound information.  I am a 45 year old African American female.
I have found found not only your information to be accurate but very helpful. I haven't felt well off and on over the last few years and did not know why. I'd eat certain things I love like hot wings (chicken) with blue cheese or peanut butter out of the jar or with apples and have eaten popcorn like crazy since I was a kid and later I feel horrible, tired, drained, etc.  I never ever connected the not so good feeling later with the food. I thought it may be something else, like the water, Laugh Out Loud.  Now that I am educated about my blood type I can take the necessary steps to set my body in balance.  Thanks so much again for all the work you do and have done.  You are a blessing to many and I pray as many people you have blessed, that you and your family, company and staff will be blessed that much more and 100 times over all the days of your life.

Sincerely,

Hear hear!
And note: My brother's surgery is what led him to beg me for health/diet advice. I prescribed Dr. D'Adamo's cardiovascular program, and he recovered from that surgery (in his case also double coronary bypass) phenomenally. (His mother-in-law commented to me, "He looks as good as he did when he was dating my daughter!" --- 3 months post-surgery). His cardiologist was very impressed, too.
3 cheers for Dr. D!
