I started the O diet in the 90's and always felt and looked great...then I fractured my shoulder and fell off the wagon so to speak. I also have developed Hoshimoto's...so after three years of eating horribly, I found my much used book, reviewed all my highlights, cleaned out my entire kitchen and I now feel like a new person. Giving up Gluten and sugars and adding exercise has brought me back to life!

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

I just heard from my aunt of a child who the hospital couldn't help (don't know the condition but wasn't good) and they send the child home with advice to the parent to follow the blood type diet and it turned the child's health around and allowed him to heal.  This I got from my Aunt who was told by the Nurse at the hospital who credited the Blood type diet (Dr. D) for the child's recovery.

A thank you to Dr. A'Dadamo - my husband is Type A and in 2009 had a cholesterol of 5.1 (HDL 1.74/LDL 3) - it spiked in late 2009 to 6.7 - around that time we began following the blood group diet and by April 2011 it had dropped to 5.8 - recently 2012 it spiked again back to 6.8 so under pressure from family we made an appointment with a Cardiologist and booked an ECG (we are in Ireland) - the cardiologist said nothing to worry about as his HDL's are at 2.33 and the LDL's at 4.2 - onto the ECG and my hubbie was told his heart health is in the top 2% of people his age (42 yrs) - so even though his cholesterol is showing at 6.9 he is in excellent health - I firmly believe this is down the BGD for since 2009, when he began the diet, his HDL's have increased steadily - thank you once more - a shining light in the dark !!!

Wanted to thank you for having the blood type
information available. I am type A.
I have changed many things in my life such as not eating meat and not longer having a TV because I was able to listen to what my body was telling me.
However to have my blood type help explain why my body was reacting to these things gives me better insight in understanding what my body needs, along with the why. I will now be able to further respect and honor myself by trying the different things listed to see if I can be the best that I can be everyday.

Again thank you

I live is SW Miami, Here for 28 years. 54 years old, I don't call it a diet eater. I eat from my food list as for what is highly beneficial foods for my type "Type O" I was 235 and rising and had been a pound or so each month for a few years. I started about 20 months ago and the only thing I changed was the kinds of food I ate... even without skimping on my normal large portions I am down 50 pounds and loving it... I love living in my body again!

Nice Review of the Personalized Nutrition Store in Williamsburg Brooklyn.

"Let me first thank Tony, for introducing me to a whole new healthy lifestyle. Normally when I walk into a nutrition store, it's usually cold and uninviting. (Ex. The Dry Eye Commercial).

On a beautiful day in December my mind was changed forever. I was greeted by Colleen, she was expecting me and of course Tony sent me. I hope I spelled your name correctly. You were my shiny star in my gloomy night. I'd recently been released from the hospital still feeling bloated and tired. All was lost or so I thought. We talked for hours that day in between other customers.

During the course of the first two weeks I'd lost 10lbs and 2 inches off my waist without working out. I was shocked. You see, I work out three days a week during my lunch at work, ate my meals accordingly. Salad, yam, 6 chicken legs, tofu, soy, and wheat etc. Little did I know that those foods were foods to avoid for my B type. When I omitted those foods and added the right foods and supplements for my B type, I shed those pounds.

I walked away with a wealth of knowledge to last a lifetime. I appreciate your unwavering attention and patience each and everytime I walk in. Thanks, Colleen, David, Maura and I can't forget Dr. D'adamo, without him i'd probably still be eating chicken and feeling bloated. Let me not forget to thank Andrea Cayea for showing me that celery does have a root and brussels sprouts have a stalk.

Of course, I pay it forward. My favorite way to start a conversation is to ask, do you know your blood type? People laugh at first."

I have written this email Dr D'Adamo to thank you for your information in your book "eat right for your type" because it has changed my life totally. I've learned a lot about my body and blood type because of your book and the blood type diet. It just really works. It helped me lose weight and live healthier. You can use my testimony if you wish too do so.
Many thanks again Dr D'Adamo.

soy/tofu products, lentils and various other beans, vegetables, fruit, nuts, a wide variety of grains, etc. It was a very well balanced vegan diet... i had assistance from other vegetarians + a vegan mentor and i took a class on it and proper food combining, etc. It turns out that some of the important foods for veganism are huge avoids for me (all soy, lentils, most beans, a large portion of nuts, most grain). Once i eliminated the soy products, beans and grains, and started following more closely what was actually beneficial for me, i lost about 60 pounds. I have had 1 migraine in a year. My fibromyalgia is almost gone and i don't have significant anemia any longer. I do have to watch it though as it is generally borderline a lot of the time. I'm a B+ Non-Secretor Explorer and while i don't gorge on meat, i do require it to keep me balanced. Thank you!

I am from Assam, INDIA, who purchased your book "Eat Right 4 your Blood Type" in Thailand in 2011. I had read the book thoroughly and still review it weekly to remember & refresh. Imdtly' I became a fan of Dr D'Adamo. Wish him all my heartiest wishes for bringing up such a pioneering effort for humanity....

When I speak to many of my friends- relatives- even new guests - about the origin of diff. Blood types and how specific diets for diff Blood types affect us - every one would stare dumb at me as if listening to a new story with amazement.

Regards & wishing a long life to Dr Adamo

Hi, after almost dying in childbirth 15 years ago I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. At one point I weighed 225 lbs. I am a Type A and have followed your diet ever since. I weigh 135 lbs. and I am a healthy and do not take any medications. I'm 51 and healthier than I was 20 years ago thanks to you. I find that being a Type A is a challenge in the 21st century, but it is worth it. Thanks Dr. D'Adamo!

This story will blow you away!!!

Hello from Australia! Two months ago I was fortunate enough to find a copy of eat right 4 your type on the ground in a park. I phoned the number inside the cover and I was thanked and then told I could keep the book. I was also told to consider reading it that it might change my life. The book was loved it was dog eared and there were notes scribbled everywhere. I purchased my own copy. As I looked at the foods to avoid it became apparent very quickly that there were a great deal of foods listed that my body had always had a reaction to. My weight has always been a challenge for me. Since committing to eating totally right for my blood type from the information found in the book I have dropped 20 kilos in 2 months! I have gone from walking like a sloth for 15 mins once a day to walking for 20 mins twice a day with pace and passion. So, thank you Dr D'Adamo you have impacted on my life in a very positive way. I feel fantastic and I wish you well. Warm regards,

I fall off once in a while but never have the rebound weight gain that people on other forums talk about, I chalk it up to having a better safe food list & to knowing my genotype.  "Paleo" is easy for me thanks to Dr. D.

" Dear Dr. D'Adamo

I would like to inform you that I had read your books Eat Right 4 Your Type, Live Right 4 Your Type and Change your Genetic Destiny.  I have followed your instructions for the past 18 months.  I have been a glaucoma suspect for the past 6 yrs.  I have been seeing my eye doctor every 6 months for those 6 yrs.  My latest appointment was this past Tuesday with good results.  My doctor noticed that I no longer have macular degeneration in my right eye.  At the last three visits I have had, my eye pressure has reduced a little each time.  We have been seeing some progress most recently.  My eye doctor made a comment about he wished people would eat based on their genetics to be healthier.  I informed him that I had been following information from your books.  He was happy to hear this as he mentioned everyone looks at him like he has ten heads.  I informed him I could vouch for him.  I thank you for all your hard work in your profession and wish more will read your books to educate themselves so they can be healthier.  I look forward to my next 6 month appointment to see what other great results will come.  I have promoted your books to many individuals so they may educate themselves.

Thank you very much for your dedication and information to help us.
Sincerely, "

Whats up guys! Thanks for letting me in the group. I just wanted to let you guys know that I've gone on many different diets and this one is the best. I was in constant search for the right diet for me in order to elevate my jiu jitsu. I've been using my training in jiu jitsu as a testing ground on how my body reacts to certain foods during the rigorous training and strength and conditioning workouts. Most people go about their day oblivious to how certain foods affect their mood, health and overall performance. They've lost the sensitivity because they are bogged down from every day stress and misinformation out there. Even though I've taken more than a year off training, I've been able to sustain my energy levels plus my thinking is much clearer during training.
I'm O+ and currently i've been blending a mixture of spinach, kale, and blue berries in the morning and evening. In between I eat beef, lamb, and some sardines during the week. I snack on plums, pears, and seeds in between meals along with the occasional quinoa. Also I found that sweet potato is the best before my training. I'm boosting my weight training soon and will supplement some pea protein powder. I used to use whey protein and it made so bloated. lol. Good luck guys, God bless!

Nice note from a very well-known researcher.

Dear Dr. D'Adamo,

I am a huge fan of your books and again of this great database. Most pathway databases are badly curated or mix up human with animal pathways. Your database is so good.

With very best regards,
