I have just finished reading up on my blood type and found your information spot on. Being a Clinical Hypnotherapist I have been doing some research and your site came into this.

Thank you for such an interesting look on how our blood is another source of why we are the way we are.

Keep up the amazing findings!

I worried and stressed over it too! I measured and re-measured, then had my husband measure ! But once you get the information down, Swami creates a plan that is just for you, taking in all of your information. It is fascinating. On...ce you have the program you can go back in to it, update as you get more information, or print recipes etc. It is really very special. One more thing, a few years back, I had my DNA tested, just was curious about some things and thought "why not?" So I ordered the test, did the swabbing of the inside of my cheek and returned it Fed Ex to the DNA Lab which was out east. When I got the results back they were almost identical to what Dr. D'Adamo had written in his books about B- non-secretor, Gatherer types! The DNA testing lab had nothing to do with Dr. D'Adamo yet their conclusions were amazingly similar. That made me a believer. My own physician scoffs at the blood type way of doing things, but I honestly believer the Dr. D is just way ahead of the pack. What he is doing and has done, is much further advanced than the typical old family physician, they will catch up with Dr. D's research one day, but as for now, we are the lucky ones!

I am now writing a book as a cancer survivor.  It is an all inclusive book which covers my background, medical reports, details of my diet and supplements used and the authors’ books which contributed so much to my survival and good health today.

I would like to offer you two pages in my book for you to promote your books.  This is my way of saying “thank you” for the information and advice your books and products provided, which helped me save my life.

Hopefully more readers will benefit from the collective knowledge we provide to get their lives back on track.  Cancer is a disease which effects the person’s mind and body.  I believe my book will inspire the readers to buy your books or products and hopefully join hands with other cancer patients to encourage each other to fight for their survival.
To Your Good Health

Warmest regards

My sister introduced this diet to me several months ago (April 2011) and so far I have lost 22 pounds, feel energic and more alive than I have in several years. With the Blood Type Diet I also maintain a strict portion control system. I have purchased all the books associated with this Diet and have found each to be very informative for all my nutritional needs. By using the instructions, menus, and information from Dr. D'Adamo and maintaining this weight loss that was so very hard to achieve previously, I have been able to introduce others to the Blood Type Diet and they have been successful as well. I also subscribe to dr. D'Adamo's online newsletter, which directed me to this website.

Swami took me from a size um. 8 maybe six in some makers sizes to a size 4 quickly, six weeks maybe. AND that was after doing the blood type diet for a while. I started teaching the diet, which really made me start doing what I was teach...ing , so really the first part is the diet... Then following it... Then the genotype, then all I really, and truly did was... Add cilantro to my salads, carrot juice when I ate cod. And it's august .. Still a size 4 petite! Just do. It!!!

I started back on my SWAMI on July 11, so I've been back on 100% compliance for a little over 4 weeks.  My weight has gone down from 255 to 240, my appetite is very much under control, my complexion is vastly improved, and more.  I feel very well at the moment, and wish to keep this going until I reach 185.  I am 6'2" and have always read this is my ideal weight.  I appreciate all you do for us, Dr. D.  And, very much looking forward to SWAMIv2.

When I saw the avoid list, I was giddy that I didn't "have" to eat avocados and cabbage and almost everything on the list. I lost eight pounds of water instantly, no more stomach pain or bloating or gas. My skin cleared up. 'Twas amazing. When I stray, I pay!!

I too have a lot to lose, but as stated in the book this diet is for optimal performance, weight loss is just a side effect. I can say in the first 2 weeks I dropped 10 lbs. also the pain in my knees is gone and I am able to go back to exercising……So I do believe this new eating lifestyle is going to be the key for weight loss. Good luck on your journey!

I'm writing in to tell my story.  I was diagnosed with high blood pressure at age 33, i was going through a stressful time in life so didn't think much of it. I was on and off medication for a few years then after having my son at 35 the doctors wouldn't let me leave the hospital without getting and staying on something.  I turned 40 this year and my goal was to get fit!  I was never overweight but I just wanted to try to get of the meds.  I went to my health food store and overheard a lady talking about this blood type diet.  It made sense to me!  I bought one of your books (I'm type O) and gave myself 2 weeks!  With in 2 weeks my hands (I've always had itchy hands)were cleared up!  My husband was blown away!  He said he's never seen my hands cleared up. Being the hunter in the family he was okay with this "diet" because we could still eat meat.  My whole family is type O which makes things a little easier!  We've all become used to it!  My son(5) has been taken off of wheat and he can breath again!  He was always stuffed up!  My daughter(11) is way beyond her years in how healthy she eats now!  She went to a friends house for a sleep over and came home the next day feeling yucky.  She said "Mom, I need to start bringing my own food to my friends houses."  She reconizes how she feels now.  So does my husband, he told me when he's around his friends he's like "you shouldn't eat that!"  Our mind set now is we eat to fuel our bodies!  Anyway, I've been working with my doctor and an N.D. and we've gradually taken me off the medication!  I'm so happy and I credit alot of it to this diet!  Which I believe is not a "diet" but just a healthy way of eating!  Thank you so much!  I have alot healthier AND happier family!

I just want to say that I am your classic A  blood type and all my favorite foods give me horrible heartburn and now I know why!  Your site is the very best on the whole internet!  I have to get used to eating differently but in just 2 short weeks I have lost 7 lbs.!  Hopefully I will lose my bulging belly (5'4" and only 140 lbs. with a big belly and skinny everywhere else)

I just wanted to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for this site and for it being free!  I've learned so much... GOD BLESS YOU!

A big thankyou to Dr. D. I've kept off the 23 lb. originally lost, I FEEL WONDERFUL, I have lots of energy, and not a day goes by that I don't think to myself how grateful I am for this wonderful way of living..For some of us, the improvements are supposedly minor, but who says dry skin, nasal congestion, weight gain, depression, abdominal cramping and gas, headaches and brain fog are "just part of aging?" I have none of these now!

I bow down to you Dr. D, your dedication is appreciated by so many of us!

I love dogs and turtles, bird watching, canoeing, cooking for friends and family, knitting, reading, and DR. D's diets!

I am still in the middle of the coconut oil cleanse to get rid of the candida. I know that it would not have worked so well if I did not follow the GTD. I also know that the Deflect helped to peel back some layers in my gut by scrubbing the lectins. I am still healing and making progress but without the GTD, I would not be healing, period! The GTD caused me to examine how I want to live my life and the foods I want to eat. I have become more organic (in terms of food choices and self-care products), sustainable (it just makes more sense), and cook everything from scratch, including breads. My newfound hobby in cooking and being sustainable was because of the GTD and every step is thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks, Dr. D!!!

Simplifying my life. Only the best for my body, mind, and soul!

Thank you for the books you have written. I am a Canadien, female, 29 years old  with an O positive blood type. I remain active as a tree planter and with lots of biking in the off-season. I suffered from pain in my upper abdomen for years as I eat a vegan diet. I noticed a great improvement in my health when I started with the recommended diet from the book, "Eat Right For Your Type". With your most recent book on the market I have noticed that some changes have been made. Sincerely,

As a vegan, when I was much younger, I exercised like a fiend every day and that was the only way I didn't have to fight my weight. After seven babies, I discovered btd and the weight issues are not issues anymore and I don't exercise like that. Avoiding the avoids were the ticket to my weight issues! It's amazing.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing the Blood Type and Geno Type diets to light! I've been reading your ER4YT and LR4YT books for years, and just recently read Change Your Genetic Destiny. This book has helped me tremendously!

I'm an AB+ who suffers from gluten intolerance, and has had parasite infections in the past, but now knowing that I'm a Nomad, I've incorporated the Nomad diet into my life and it's amazing how great I feel in just a few days. Western medicine did little to help me when I was at my worst, and all I can say is thank goodness for a very special homeopathic doctor who was instrumental in my healing. I will never, ever be without your book. "

May not be much help b/c I'm a B. Saw a 90 yr old @ a Snr Center who looked like Jaime Lee Curtiss. She told me "ER4BT". Dabbled on-line and lost 15 in 6 mos and never missed a bite or broke a sweat. Finally bought the book. Wrote in the margins, took to grocery story and live by it w/ my 'A' husband. It goes everywhere with me. Read the book again and again particularly testimonials and find new info every time. You can do it! Mom's Dr's and Pharmisists ask me, "would you give me the title again/". I prefer Dr. D'Adamo's and his father's work to others. xoxoxo Hope a Happy O steps-up! Cannot find this book in used book stores, folk don't part with them.

Great Type B testimonial: "Thank you!

I am seven weeks into eating for type B and I barely recognize myself. Every part of my being has improved, including things that I thought could never change. After playing sports every season as a kid, suddenly I couldn't run for more than 30 seconds. That has all changed and I have more energy than ever. I'm sending the link to this home page to a friend of mine who is battling various illnesses and I hope it works as well for her as it has for me. I am certain that I can't go back to pizza and pasta. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to leave my B diet. Thank you for helping so many people. I for one, feel that I have averted certain death.
xoxo"

Our journey: I found Dr. D'Adamo's books by accident about 5 months ago by doing a google search about blood type compatibility for giving/receiving blood. The search engine said something about a blood type diet, which I had never heard about. I bought and read the 3 Blood Type Diet books and the Genotype Diet book.

I'm a B+, who thought I was a Nomad, following the Advanced calculator in the GTD book for about the last 4 months. Last month I took the secretor test (I'm a non-secretor) and purchased the SWAMIxpress software and it told me that I am actually a Gatherer and blended the ER4YT diet for B's with the Gatherer GTD lists. I am having much better results. At first I just cut way back on my wheat, corn, chicken and tomato intake and that made my stomach feel better than it has in a decade, but I wasn't losing weight yet. I regularly (6 times a week) walk on hilly terrain with my dog for 30 minutes each morning, but never lost that much weight and had a hard time toning my middle section. (I'm 31, 5'4" and about 140 lbs. I have a good amount of muscle, just a chronically "pudgy" middle.) I was also developing aching knees that made it painful to use stairs. About a month ago, I cut my dairy intake to follow the SWAMI lists. This last week, I cut my intake of processed sugars and tried eating just one serving of beneficial raw whole fruit and 1 oz. of dark chocolate daily to help cut cravings. I've lost almost 5 lbs. (now 135lbs.!!!) and I'm feeling myself slimming where I usually don't...right around the middle, and my knees feel much better!!!!

My husband is an O-, he took the secretor test and is a non-secretor, also. SWAMIxpress told him that he was a Hunter. (He is 37, 5'10' and about 172lbs.) He lost almost 7lbs. (now about 165lbs.), and the "spare bike tire" around his waist, almost immediately without even exercising much, but starting to follow his SWAMI diet lists. He would "burn out" from the stress at his job very easily, had a hard time sleeping and had chronic migraine headaches and body aches. His chronic migraine headaches and body aches have all but disappeared, he's sleeping better, and he's got enough energy to start exercising again. He used to eat yogurt every morning with bran, just to try to become regular, but it always made him feel worse. Took away the gluten and dairy (including the yogurt and bran) from his diet and his gut is definitely getting better.

We've started moving our 11-year-old son's diet to the GTD Explorer profile since he's a B-and the GTD book said he was an Explorer whether he's a secretor or not. Big difference for him as well! I VERY HIGHLY recommend the GTD book and SWAMIxpress!!! It has greatly helped us all in our own individual ways!!! Thanks so much Dr. D'Adamo, and keep up the good work!!!

Eat Right for your Type gave me immediate results with acid reflux and allergies. I no longer am taking prescriptions drugs for my symptoms. Since O blood type people have an enormous amount of stomach acid, DGL & bladderwrack are great supplements for preventing heartburn, indigestion, acid reflux, H-pylori, and promoting weight loss (bladderwrack). As long as I eat the beneficial & neutral foods I'm fine.

Proof Blood type diet works.Sinus problems all my life, surgeries & antibiotics. 1998 ENT surgeon suggested allergies. Yeast and mold. Breadaholic & ate moldy food . Got allergist's diet. Friend said that is Type A diet, too. It was. Also eliminated gastric upsets! No sinus problems except seasonal. Dr James Braly says thousands lost weight eliminating delayed onset food allergies. ENT office confirmed! Type O cannot eat corn or gluten, daily fruits & vegs. Ancestry counts

Hi, I'm a 50 year young female who's fairly active, stresses on the little things but has a passion for life.  (I care too much) I've had long history of stomach disorders ranging from Gastritis, Gastro paresis, Hiatal hernia, Esophagitis and Iritable bowel syndrome.  I've had a cholecystectomy, hysterectomy, apendectomy, bleeding disorders, Low levels of B12, tonsillectomy and bilateral hernia repair only to find the pain that I've experienced was still present post the numerous surgeries.  After the experience of poking, prodding and dozens of tests, I've opted out of 99.9% of prescribed medications.  Recently I went to a Dr. in Cool California for a recommendation. The Dr. at the Cool medical clinic looked at my records and instantly said "You're blood type is O correct"?  I confirmed her observation and was surprised that she would know my blood type without knowing anything about me.  She recommended your book to me and suggested I start eating for my blood type.  After seeing her I went to my Gastroenterologist who is now ordering a small bowel Xray this week.  In the meantime I've bought your book and started eating for meals for Type O blood.  In one week I've slept without taking Tums that live on my night stand, I don't have the bloating and pain that was having in my bowels with the exception of the Esophagitis which I think needs to heal.My attitude has changed, my energy level is where it should be and I have you to thank!

Sincerely
