I would like to begin a garland for Dr. D that is created from our expressions of gratitude to him. I suggest that we write these posts addressed to him, instead of about him. I know that we have all shared stories of how our lives have been improved because of him. These beautiful posts are scattered throughout the Forum, and I know Dr. D has missed reading a lot of them because he can't possibly read every post that we write. He is too busy doing the wonderful things that we are grateful for! So, Dr. D, this is for you, with such deep gratitude, I don't even know how to condense it into words. What you have done with your brilliant mind has given me what I needed to put my life back together. I really thought my quality of life was finished. So many traumas, illnesses and being beaten down by the pain of life had taken the joy out of me. I have followed the blood type diet for a decade and the genotype diet for more than two years, and all I can do is shake my head in amazement! Life is good!! My health is returning in force, and I have hope that my future will continue to get better and better. So, much love and gratitude from me to you! |

Really I have a deep trust and gratitude for Dr D work! What a great knowledge to use adaptogens + vit C for me, or I would be in deep adrenal exhaustion and in many ways this is my way to cope. From these books and this syte I am learning to ask myself and others our best, as so it is with mental and body health. We can reach for our best heritage ! I had also the skill to get my celiac tests, that a well-known and experienced allergologist had before denied me as an odd idea, after a description of my toddler colitis and my brother's diagnosis at weaning five years later. I wait amazed for the next news here Dr D! |

Dr D. .. the biggest respect I can show you is to call you here today by your full name ..
To: Dr. Peter D'ADAMO!
I am sitting crying over the thought of the possibility of this post ever being seen by you..
I am overwhelmed with gratitude..
I suffered pain all my life, stomach pain for 32 years and the insult of a doctor, recommending that I see a shrink or make a baby.. I KNEW that neither was my issue. After switching doctor out of his office I found a doctor who cured my pain over night.. (and no x-ray-'s, before I had been exposed to 168 x-rays over ten years just to find out if I had, this or that or some other thing-- and nothing worked (O and milk)
I learned much from Adelle Davis....
After on accident I suffered pain every where for 30 years and had every label including the catchall fibromyalgia.. after many dollars spent on everything, I discovered that I could feel better taking extra doses of Manganese and Vit B / it took my pain away.
THEN..I discovered your book and it made it all come together. I started to Eat Right 4 My Type and started to talk to everyone who would stand still long enough to hear my fabulous success with BTD. I bought every book, every card, every item just so I could learn, compare and make healthful progress.
I no longer am exposing my body to x-rays, I no longer eat the wrong (standard) food (unless I am willing to pay a price for it) I feel wonderful, I am grateful for the hundreds and thousands I no longer 'need' to spend on trying to feel good. I am terrific!!!
I met you years ago... and I wish I could be a fly on the wall of your world.. What fabulous things we learned in language we understand..
Just recently I introduced the next generation to this board and she is on her way to learn to admire your work. May you be blessed with a LOOOOOONG productive life! May all my best wishes be coming your way and some day when you are getting the Nobel Prize for Science, I will stand there and cheer you on so that you can give the world more of your wonderful insights and abilities to heal our body's and mind! Thanks!! JB
So what is N~1 ?? |
| When I see other peoples medicines schedule-I am happy to be here taking care of my health I only wish to drop weight more easily-life would be perfection Being 'here' creates understanding. BTD prevents damage from eating avoids. Thanks Dr D & your sups - all support and friendships |

I've been wanting to post success stories from other sources. All are tributes to your hard work and ground breaking scientific knowledge, Dr. D! Thank you for all your dedication!

Dear Dr. D'Adamo- I wanted to simply say....you rock! I've struggled the last three years with a blood disorder and because of lack of insurance, have had to be my own health advocate. I've had to find what foods work and don't work for my personal health challenges. I noticed a rather large difference in my body and the way it reacted to foods I omitted, such as gluten. Then about 4 months ago a family member had suggested I try your "diet." Even though I had heard about you and your work, at the time, I thought what I was doing was enough. However, after incorporating a type A diet into my life, I can tell you I feel even better! Of course, because of particular medical intervention I was unable to obtain, I more than likely have residual nerve damage and other issues from my disorder. But, because of using food as my medicine rather than my poison, I can say with confidence, I have come a long way in healing my body. I ate well before I became sick, but, eating foods that actually support my blood type, has definitely helped. So, thank you! Thank you for enabling others like myself to change their life for the better, by accessing information you have made possible through your hardwork Many blessings to you on your continued success in all that you do! In love-n-light.... Tracy

Prof. Dr. Uhlenbruck should promote Dr. D for the Nobel prize in "put in a category that fits the needs".
Saved countless people's life Brought countless people quality back into their lives Reanimated countless people's life Fights a war without weapons <...> put in whatever is necessary to express your ideas / feelings <...>
Reminded me of what I always wanted to do: helping people and so I started an education as a natural health professional (Heilpraktiker) in Germany although I got a 10 hours day job.
Thanks Dr. D. and to the people in this forum. |

There are no words Dr. D that can truly express what your research and treatment have done for me and my whole family. Not only are you a great, insightful doctor but you care. You keep so many plates spinning but still manage to be in the moment. You are so very special. Thank you! Dr. D, I really appreciate this high-quality Forum that you've provided for us as a support system. It makes all the difference in the world to be able to talk with folks who are dedicated to health and healing. This space is a sanctuary for us to come to when we want to talk with like-minded people who understand why we choose to approach food the way we do. |

OK, Dr. D. I'm going to make it short and sweet since I know what a busy guy you are!
One simple question from an ND, "What is your blood type?" and my whole life was changed. I went from her office, to a local beef farm and the healing began.
There isn't a word for that kind of gratitude.
If it's not enough that you're my hero, I am getting to walk the Brooklyn Bridge in your presence. I will try to contain myself.

I have learned so much here. After following the BTD for 10+ years I didn't think it could get any better, but the GTD sounded so intriguing, turn up the good genes, turn down the bad ones? Had to try it and swami, wow, my own personal list of foods for me. I didn't really have any health issues when I started all this, and now I'm confident that I'm not likely to develop any! Thank you! |

Dr. D'Adamo,
I appreciate the passion you have for your work; it is easy to see that it is truly a labor of love. I admire your strength and courage that even when skeptics criticize or berate your research that you continue on as only a true professional would. This, in my opinion, makes you, sir, a true warrior. I thank you for sharing with us, all that you have learned and for giving us the tools and skills to make our lives change for the better in regards to our health and mental well being.
With Respect and Thanks! Frosty |

Since october 1999 on my A-diet and since the Genotypediet and Swami I have been able to finetune my diet even more.. Often I wonder where I would have been, healthwise and lifewise, if I had not been drawn to your books Het Bloedgroepdieet and Leven volgens je Genen.. My bp would have remained skyhigh, my kidneys would certainly have caused me problems in time. My edema would have become a fact 'to get accustomed to live with'. I would certainly not have been able to take important decisions in order to become a happy person.. Hhhhmmm.. all these ailments have vanished since listening to my body with the help of your priceless books You are awesome Peter D'Adamo and you deserve the Nobel prize for Health.. Your dedication to share your knowledge with us is priceless! Considering in what kind of world we live in nowadays with all its nutritional and medical mainstream but intoxicating seductions that are 'normal' for the bigger part of mankind, I feel privileged and grateful to be able to know the difference... We, on this way of life, we are not to be 'infected' by ingredients in foods and skincare, drinks that hijack our health. Especially now we have to wake up and stay alert in order to understand what is happening globally. We need to wake up spiritually so that we can stand up for ourselves when integrity of our bodies and minds is being violated. Thinking of genemodified foods, the wish of our 'leaders' to implant mankind with nanochips, all for our 'safety'... Peter, your books made the difference in my life.. Thank you for being right here in my life.. Cocky |

Dr. D: Your Genotype Diet is truly brilliant. We have 3 generations who strive daily to stay on it, my 81 year old mom (A+ Warrior), 47 year old me (A+ Warrior), and my 21 year old son (A+ Teacher). I just love it that you are a Warrior just like me! Unlike many here, I don't have any particular physical ailments, other than slowing down in middle-age and getting fat around the middle. But, getting small heart palpitations and breathing heavy to get around, well, I just said "Enough!". My Dad died of a heart attack at 49 and I'm 47! Yikes! So, I really want to shed that fat and feel young again, bouncing around the 2 mile campus lake like it is nothing, just like in my 20's. And, to one day come to your clinic and be examined by you personally, that, sir, would be an honor and distinct pleasure. Keep up the good work...and I so look forward to getting the SWAMI! Adam |

Thank you so much for putting this book out. It has saved my life! Foods were making me so ill. It was getting to the point there was almost nothing I could eat! I was packing the weight on. Now, after reading your book, I know what to eat, what to stay away from, and why. I am getting better. I'm losing weight, and my doctor is thrilled with the improvements. I'm so excited!
Thank you, again.

Dr. D...Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Here is a list of how you've improved my life. I don't know how I can ever thank you enough. What you've done for the world is priceless.
1.) Chronic constipation (I used to go once every two weeks and now I go 1/day!)
2.) Bad cramps and PMS (Now I have regular pain free cycles)
3.) Depression and Anxiety (I was on almost every prescription medication and now I am drug free and naturally happy and high from beneficial foods)
4.) Vericose veins (I started getting spider veins behind my knees at the age of 13. They started turning to vericose veins at age 22. After being on the diet for 3 years, the spider veins are completely gone.
5.) Alienated from the world (Now I understand my personality and others better from learning about my blood type personality. I can relate better to others and I'm more accepting about life. I don't fight with reality anymore...I just accept it.)
6.) I've met wonderful life-long friends from this forum, facebook, and various Eat Right groups. |
