Just wanted to mention that I found an ink pad yesterday and decided to check my finger prints. The white lines that were there are almost all gone! I only have one tiny small one. I distinctly remember when Dr. C took my finger prints at the office in 2008 and I saw the white lines on them. That makes me feel really good because since I've been having a really hard time losing weight with my SWAMI ..It's wonderful that at least my gut has improved. |

Thanks! Goldie, Warriors are very thrifty with holding on to weight in mid life. Dr. D works out a lot and eats..well you know.. perfectly.. sigh. I so admire his ability to stay on his program. I'm thinking it has a lot to do with the way his Naturopathic father and mother raised him.. I'm jealous. I'd say I'm mostly 80-90 % compliant..some days...70% some days 100% But I'm telling you, if I was younger following this program, I wouldn't have any weight to lose. All of my excess poundage...is from menopause. |

I hear ya Cristina. I've been on the SWAMI since 2008 ..I went into M Jan 2007 , so I have them both creating changes on my body at the same time. But I must say that the diet has made M so much more easy for me. My hot flashes aren't that bad because I eat/drink a lot of soy. I'll be finished with my course this week and I'm focusing on my health more. |

Ohhh! I thought she was refering to some sort of trait we radial loopers have, at least according to this link: http://www.adula.com/fingerprints.htmBTW, I have 10 loops, all ulnar, except for the index finger in both hands: they are radial.
Quoted Text
Radial Loop on the Fingerprints
Index Finger - Someone who will express their Ego in a unique way. This single print on the dominant hand reveals that self-employment is the only route to personal fulfillment.
I wish I would have known this many years ago! It would have saved me a lot of time!! |

"meaning" of ulnar loops is that if you have 8 or more you could have an increased chance of Alzheimer's and cognitive disease later in life.

Christina, I liked your link on fingerprints and traits. A lot of it was true for me. My fingerprints are more clear since starting my Swami in October 2009 and I just recently can start to see a composite fingerprint...It used to have too many white lines and was almost unreadable. I have 4 arches on my left hand and 1 ulnar loop on my pinkie. I have two arches on my right hand and 1 composite ulnar loop/arch on ring finger and 1 ulnar loop on pinkie, and 1 whorl on thumb.
I always felt like the right side of my body was the "weaker" side (even though I'm right handed) and my right hand has some strange combinations of fingerprints. The moons on my nails are harder to see on the right side. If I eat really well, I can see moons coming back on my left hand first and then they come back on my right hand last. I think my circulation is weaker on my right side. (I notice the moons come back strong when I eat mostly beneficials and enough vegetables). I'd like to learn more about fingernail moons. |

Congrats on healing your gut! I like watching my prints get stronger and my white lines receed. Simple pleasure from profound change.
Thanks! I was quite surprised considering I'm not 100% compliant. (mostly with condiments) But, I was usually 70% at the minimum and Dr. D said that was excellent. I had a lot of lines when I first went. I thought it was from gluten but Dr. D said it's from not eating my proper genotype diet. I wasn't following the BTD either until I went to see him, so I've been doing this WOE since 2008. |

Hmmm, I guess I should read up on the finger printing thing. Apparently my fetal experience was stressful! Go figure my mom is a bit of a drama queen. lol
Left hand
Thumb - ulnar loop Index - arch Middle - ulnar loop Ring - ulnar loop Pinkie - arch
Right hand
Thumb - double loop whorl Index - whorl Middle - ulnar loop Ring - ulnar loop Pinkie - ulnar loop
I only have two matching sets! And for being a Warrior and having only two arches? What does that mean? lol More reading to do! |

Are you working from a SWAMI? I tested myself Warrior in the Genotype book even though I identified a lot with Explorer. When I went to Dr. D, he said my mom must have been doing summersaults while she was pregnant. Big mismatches, too. Turns out Explorer. Mom said she was so happy to be pregnant, it was an "easy, happy time" however, found out later she had ulcerative collitis and was on a med in her first trimester. May be the reason? Might be worth doing a SWAMI with as much info as you can get if you haven't already. |

Wow...a A1 Secretor Explorer! Who knew? I've never seen one. All of the A's I've seen here are Non secretors who are Explorers. It really pays to go see Dr. D! You would have been following the Warrior diet..Warriors have the strictest diet out of all the genotypes...When I went to see him to get genotyped, I , duh, thought I'd be getting a bigger menu of food choices...I got less... I'm afraid to go back to him. He might take more food away...lol.. |

Do you find the lunulas (half moons) in nails indicate good your metabolism? If lunulas are hidden, metabolism is not so fast and vice versa?
You certainly have discussed this other threads, so I apologize. What improves metabolism for relatively young Warriors that are quite in a normal shape but not thin anymore? Of course the diet, but what foods are usually best in that? |

I haven't SwamiX'ed myself yet. I will do that sometime after I give birth to my son, which will happen in the next couple weeks. I will probably order the software in the next month or so. I talked to my mom about her experiences during my pregnancy. lol Go figure... she was working as a Psychiatric Nurse in a Psych Hospital. haha I shouldn't find it so funny. But I do! No wonder I'm so weird! I GTD'ed myself with the info in the book when I bought the book. Than I bought the GT kit and just completed it yesterday. It says I'm a Warrior. It eliminated the possibility of me being an Explorer really quickly due to my torso and leg measurements. I would love to go get analyzed by Dr. D himself but having a new born to deal with pretty soon and being a single mom on top of that... I doubt I'll be making it across the continent anytime soon for any reason. lol I do feel really great on the Warrior diet though. I also felt great on the A type diet too and lost a lot of weight. So I'll just stick with what I'm doing. Who knows, within a year and all the weight loss that's going to happen I could end up being typed as a totally different GT all together. I'll just have to retest myself every once in awhile. With the SwamiX that should be easier too. |

Don't have a direct answer for that, but diamond beneficials, if I recall correctly, help with normalizing weight and helping metabolism. Anyone else...? |

I fingerprinted at over three years ago at the Crossville conference and never did it again. I just took whoevers word for it on my prints.
It has taken me this long to look at my own prints even though I have all the supplies. No white lines
I think I have one of everything..
Right hand Left Hand Thumb Ulnar Loop Thumb Ulnar Loop Index Arch Index Radial Loop Middle Ulnar Loop Middle Ulnar Loop Ring Arch
Ring Accidental Whorl? (this one is weird it is an arch with a ball on top)
Pinky Ulnar loop Pinky Ulnar Loop
So now I understand why I am so odd.. |

Nice thing about SWAMI is that it's individualized. Afterward, my husband was -- well, what are you? The simple answer, I'm me. Fit into that broad "Explorer" group too. Like Larry said, "We are all individuals" and like Eric quoted Sister Sledge "We are family" |

I and my mother have many whorls (I have 8 and I recall mother also has, at least very near to that). We both are O type. Fingerprint patterns can without a doubt be inherited different way than blood type - I suspect my maternal grandparents were B and A type. |
