I've had MS for ten years this month. Since I've started the BTD/GTD, everything has turned around for me. I didn't understand it at first why the diet worked so well for me while nothing else would but I tried not to spend too much time questioning. When this study on MS surfaced in November, it clicked. http://watch.ctv.ca/news/w5/the-liberation-treatment/#clip237617 |

Britney, hi and welcome to the forum. I watched the entire video...This doctor seems to have found a cause for MS and a very viable cure. I know someone with MS and I will surely pass this information onto her. I'm curious how you feel the BTD and Dr. Zamboni's findings are related?? He is opening clogged veins which stop iron from pooling in the brain. Are you saying the diet is doing something similar? |

Hi Brittany, Welcome Wow..That's amazing that this Italian doctor can cure MS with a simple surgery! I hope it comes over to the US for the MS patients here. |

Britney...you were only 13 yo at diagnosis? Is it rare to be so young with MS?
I'm so glad things are working for you! Congrats! |

I had no doubt that the BTD was the cause for my feeling so well but I felt like, when I learned about CCSVI, the BTD made perfect sense. If MS were to be caused by narrowed or blocked veins inhabiting regular blood flow and following the BTD allows blood to move more freely... it just fit that the BTD would help.
This research is taking off like wildfire as far as MS research and it seems like everybody is ready to give up drugs and have stints as soon as they can. It isn't well accepted in America yet and few doctors will preform the surgery. They've actually come out and encouraged MS patients to follow the diet that works best for them as closely as they can. I'm just grateful I know about the BTD.
SofuLori, my twin sister and I were diagnosed 10 years ago... this month, actually. It is really young to be diagnosed with MS especially since we'd shown signs of it three or four years previous to diagnosis. |

The age at which Ms is now diagnosed is much younger. and it seems to be acting a lot faster fro what I have read.

There are docs doing this endoscopic procedure here in the states. I gave the link to the Italian doctors study to a friend, who was diagnosed with MS around 5 years ago....He was able to find a doctor in Ohio? I think, who did the angioplasty for him last year (i don't believe they put stents in). Of course he had to pay cash out of pocket for the procedure because it's considered experimental $$$...He had wonderful results for about a month, and unfortunately his condition has worsened again. I recently read an article here about BTD and reversal of MS symptoms and meant to send links to my friend again (i am new to the BTD myself)....I always get so hopeful when I hear about people having these types of successes. I am a nurse, and MS has always been a disease that tugs at me heart strings. Food as medicine, what a concept! Love it! |
