Dear all,
A very dear friend of mine, Lucy (70) was diagnosed with cancer last september: a large grapefruit size tumor in the abdomen, between the stomach, duodenum and pancreas (and affecting the pancreas). The food she ate was blocked in the stomach because of this and nothing would go beyond the stomach.
She needed an operation to create a bypass in order for the food to follow its normal route down through the intestines. But the surgeon didn't touch the tumor because it was way too big.
She was programmed for chemotherapy as soon as she recovered from the operation and started eating again. This in order to reduce the tumor to be able to operate. They didn't lead her to believe there was much hope.
We agreed together that she would follow the Blood Type A non-secretor cancer diet according to Peter D'Adamo's book, Cancer.
After some time of having to readjust to being able to eat normally, meaning gradually introducing the recommended foods, she was also able to swallow supplements. I gave her all I could in drop form. She has now been taking almost all of the recommended supplements.
She also told her doctors about the blood type diet and supplements she was taking and they said she could do anything else she wanted. They were not interested in the details.
On the 30 December 2009, she had her first scan since the one that discovered the tumor. Are you all sitting down? And I must add about a week before the scan she started taking homeopathic remedies given by another doctor who also does acupuncture.
The doctors (oncologist and surgeon and a third one I know less about)were astonished by what they saw. They could hardly believe their eyes: the tumor had significantly diminished and they told her: " Whatever you are doing, continue". She had told them several times about the blood type diet but they were not interested to know about it and even now they don't want to know more.
And last but not least, she has a lovely lady, Edith, a former nurse, who comes in to sleep most nights, does her shopping and most of the cooking, eats the same food she eats (she is also a blood type A). I taught her about the blood type diet and gave her some cooking instructions. She has lost 20 pounds on delicious, nutritious food and is delighted.
I will keep you posted on further results.
PS The markers are steadily and surely dropping and her white blood cells are fine too.
Heaps of appreciation and gratitude to you Dr D. |

Amazing story! I'm sure it will give hope to many people with serious health challenges.
Sad that the docs don't want to hear anything, they could be quite an influence on the road to better health for everyone.

Karen, thank you for sharing this heart-warming story with us. Your friend is fortunate to have you in her life. Dr. D sure saved my life when I was going through cancer. And out the other side with 8 years behind me. There is always hope for recovery and return to good health. Right eating, powerful supplements, an optimistic attitude and a good social network with loving friends! A good formula for success. |

Karen, What a wonderful and caring friend you are. It's truly miraculous what the right food can do for your health and for your soul. Dr. D, you must take such pleasure in hearing about the "miracles" that occur when people are eating right.... I'm tear-y too. Jane |

Great to hear this!!
Must say I am amazed at the fact that her doctors are not interested in her way of eating, aka BTD. What more proof do they need that it works?? |

This is a fantastic story. I wish I had know about all this when my Dad died of Cancer in 1996. I am passing the information on to a family friend who has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. This is truly inspirational. Thank you for sharing and keep us posted with her progress. |

Well here comes some absolutely terrific, astonishing, wonderful, amazing (you add the rest) news.
Lucy's tumor has vanished! No where to be seen/found by the scanner. No need for the planned operation. Just to remind you the tumor had spread to the pancreas and that was not good news.
Her doctors were truly amazed (they said). Her oncologist said she has never seen this with chemo alone. Again they said continue what you are doing. Still not interested to know what it is. I do have hopes that they will come around.
She now has one more series of chemotherapy. And she is done!
Cancer cells are probably still around but the tumor is gone.
They want to give her a medication for life. Didn't yet say what. Here in France it is sometimes difficult to get the full information from the doctors. I reminded Lucy it was up to her to decide whether or not she wanted a "for life" medication. We shall see. She is opened to other options. As she says I take every day as it comes and with what it brings.
When I heard this news over the phone, I was in tears. I couldn't contain my happiness for her. She has been very courageous throughout all of this and her belief in her healing was always up. That is in my opinion what enabled her to be so good about the diet and the supplements.
I want to emphasize the supplements (those recommended by Dr D in the cancer book) plus a couple others prescribed by her homeopathic doctor. I believe they played an immense rôle.
I will keep you informed as the months, years go by.
This is what miracles are about. You put the right ingredients together and the alchemy takes place. This is the first one. I am sure the next is yet to come!
Spread the news! |

what s important is your friend s open mindedness and following your advice in a compliant manner.....she simply needs to keep the faith and the positive attitude regardless of negative opinion. |
