Hi. Here I am, just joined. My name is Wilf and I am continuing with my wife,s Sarahk's Testimonial. Whilst 'enjoying' my enforced stay in Hospital after a Coronary Thrombosis, I found out my Blood type. Sarah brought me the Eat Right book and it was a revelation to me although Sarah had followed it herself for 12 years; but you know how it is sometimes, life has to shake you up before you listen...lol. As a German, I loved all those smoked meats etc. and the typical German diet, but it was killing me...literally....as my blood was too thick and so I developed a Thrombosis. My Artery was 98% blocked, so I was very, very lucky. I started the AB diet in Hospital....none of the Doctors had heard of it...and immediately felt better. I was on a lot of medication but after a couple of weeks, my body started to reject them. After my all clear scans, I went onto Hawthorn and lots of garlic as recommended by the Book. I feel great. I also teach Qigong and Tai Chi; I have practised these for over 30 years, and I strongly believe that these exercises helped to save my life. Qigong and Tai Chi are the top of the list for my type exercise, so I intuitively knew this all those years ago. Good to be on this site along with Sarah. Wilf. |

I pity all A and AB Spaniards with their succulent 'jamón de Jabugo' and all those delicacies!!! you are a lucky man to have found this lifestyle and I salute your curiosity to have adapted it successfully! |

Hi Wilfk, Welcome to the forum. Thick blood? Blot clot? I had that also. You sound like a Warrior..But that's another book by Dr. D'Adamo "The GenoType Diet" . My father was AB+ and a Warrior..We are not supposed to eat any red meat at all ...might be why you got the DVT. So when you're comfortable with the Blood Type Diet..have your wife get you the GenoType Diet Book to read.. You will be so excited when you read about yourself.. |

Hi Mayflowers, Thanks for the warm welcome. The BTD makes a lot of sense to me as I see it as a missing link to the Daoist Chang Ming Diet and it is working for me and other friends. However from what I've looked up on the Genotype Diet, does not resonate with me because I personally can't see any immediate link with the BDT. Wilf |

Hi Lola Great articles etc, makes lot of sense, it seems to me that the GTD goes into a deeper level. The way I see it, Our genes determine who and what we are and our Genes seem to ultimately detemine our Blood type. Thanks for leading me to the links. Wilf |
