i'm 9 days in to the BTD, have lost 3 pounds, and have absolutely NO joint pain anymore. (before beginning the diet, i was to the point of having to stop walking when i was headed up the stairs, due to knee pain. i'm only 29 and pretty fit, so that's not good  ) i started the diet after a week's vacation where i ate tons and tons of bread. i was so bloated and sore and miserable on the car ride home. i just couldn't take it anymore! i was familiar with this diet and had done it briefly once before so decided to try it again. within 48 hours, i felt markedly better. the bloating was gone. the only significant joint pain i've had occurred after my only cheat, which was a piece of cake at a friend's wedding  not only that, my parents are both doing the diet now--i guess i inspired them! my dad, also an O, has lost 3 pounds as well, and his joint pain is gone, and he has lots more energy. my mom is a B who had horrible indigestion/reflux, which has disappeared (only resurfaced briefly when she accidentally ingested "hidden" corn). she's also lost a couple pounds. so many people think this diet is bull, frankly...but how do you explain these results?! it clearly WORKS! |
