I have recently lost another 6 pounds bringing my total weight loss to 16 pounds! I think that my body keeps changing naturally due to my strict attention to food choices and excercise habits. I have not done anything different lately...I just stay compliant & my body continues to adjust itself. It seems like a miracle to me but I think that the all-knowing Dr. D is not surprised at all considering how rigidly I stick to his plan. I had reached a plateau & stayed there for many months so I thought that I had reached my desired weight & I didn't expect any more changes...& then all of a sudden...this wonderful new adjustment. Needless to say...I am so pleased with the results...thanks again, Dr. D. I started here weighing 136 lbs. I now weigh 120! My height is 5'4'', I will turn 70 in March 2009. |

Well done Rex! Congratulations! So good to read good news. Are your portion/frequencies similar to Dr. D's recommendations in Genotype book? I am curious to know more about this issue especially the grain and fruit category. Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration |

Susana...yes, my portions/frequencies are precisely those recommended by Dr. D in the GTD book. In addition to food, as I mentioned, I precisely follow Dr. D's excercise recommendations as well. As an extra note...my DH has also lost ten pounds by following Dr. D's recommendations and both of us are maintaining our good state of health. It's not just an aborition...it is for real and seems like it's holding firm for both of us. |

I hear ya, Rex! Congratulations!! We have some things in common: I'm also 5'4", and I've lost something like 13 pounds. I did the same thing you did, which is follow the Doc. D's instructions without question. The interesting thing is that my body shape has changed and I haven't just lost weight. I think you and I have had this conversation before! |
