The bad news is that I took a hard fall on my left knee last night and went into the doctor's today for an x-ray. Not broken but strained or sprained. Major ouch! The good news is that when they took my blood pressure it was 110/65. Last time I was in for a regular check-up it was 128/80 which I was told is "good for a diabetic". I didn't see my regular doctor today, but this doctor I did see said my blood pressure was very good, excellent in fact! Hurray for the BTD! I really needed this good news. I was feeling like a failure in not seeing much weight loss since starting. This shows me clearly there are other more important things going on. Next week I get my A1c diabetes blood test and cholesterol checked and am hoping for equally good news there too. |

Great job! My blood pressure has dropped since I've been on the GTD also. |

Good job, Aprilshowers! Remember to take bromelain on an empty stomach a few times x day. Arnica ointment will also speed healing. I like a homeopathic cream called Toprican, available in natural food stores. Great stuff! |
