flushing can be when mixed with B3 as niacin...no flush possible ...if not mixed... and here niacin flushes up from 250-500 mg's in its purest forms... normally not possible when mixed to other products....!!! ha-ha-haaa I do take 1'500mg's 3x daily and no flush to be seen anyway
Is that 1500 mg's x 3 of niacin? or arginine? If arginine, that would more closely match what is recommended on my container than what others are taking, not that I'm going to take any of these anyway since they are from corn sugar. |

teri, that sounds like a might lot of l-arginine. Maybe they are just trying to sell more of it. Dr. D recommends 500 mg daily, and I am now taking 1 g daily (one 500 mg cap twice daily). If it's made from corn sugar, it may not but much good taking it.
Thanks d55, I'll look for another source. |

Is there any info (I can't find any) on the benefits for the blood types as in A's? |

Cool, aren't nomads the ones who really need nitric oxide? |

I thought it was B's who need it, who can be Explorers and Gatherers too. |

Yes, it is a common thread for all Bs. However, the examples of nomads in the genotype book were particularly memorable in that regard. |

Interesting. Isa, are you a Nomad too? Maybe it's not something Explorer B's/AB's need to supplement with. I don't see it anywhere in the recommended supplement lists for Explorers. I know there are at least 2 B Explorers around here. Would be interesting to hear if they are using L-Arginine and what effect it might be having for them. Otherwise, I will just have to start taking it and see if I notice any effect, though it would be nice to hear from others first before I spend $ on it. |

teri, my measurer told me yesterday again that coz of the results of those measurements I'd be a warrior.....but I do show also ...even more signs of nomad and here I'm still struggeling coz my swamirecommendations were exactly + - the same than AB nonniefoodlists....especially A2B nonniefoodlist included.... so now please tell me why should I follow the warrior diet...first I can't have wheat.....coz of wheatintolerance... lactoseintolerance....nearly all sugars .... and also honey... .....so I'm still forced to gamble between both types so easier to stay on my yummy A2B nonnie foodlists .... |

I'd stick with A2B nonnie, maybe while looking into some superfoods for your genotype that work for you and are allowed for A2B nonnies. It's just fine for a BTD nonnie to stay a BTD nonnie...consider it a royal right. |

A2B nonnie BTD sounds like the best choice for you. I haven't done any Swami test yet but I would like to at some point (Gillian has kindly offered). I tested very close to 50/50 between BTD and GTD, so I decided to go with GTD and give it a good go. Explorer diet is tougher than the B-non diet, but it feels good, so I'll stick to it until Swami or Dr. D (same guy? ) says otherwise. |

Isa's a Warrior? Cool.. But whatever diet you like to follow... The Warrior and the regular A diet are so similar I pretty much have the same avoids, but you probably (definitely) have a better choice on the AB diet. |

Here's something interesting... I'm an O and was taking L-Arginine at night on an empty stomach... I tried L-Arginine in the mornings. Felt great but instead of wanting to go out and ride my bike 10 miles I felt like I should do an hour of yoga then relax, not really like me. And my night insomnia came back?!
I went back to taking it in the evening and am sleeping through the night again. And I still have that feeling of well being during the day.
Amazing how supplements affect the different blood types! |
