I just have to say I doubt I could have sustained my focus to have stayed with this way of eating for almost 2 yr. if it were not for this forum!!! It is so supportive, encouraging, and responsive, it keeps me connected in a "way of life" community. I check in super frequently and it pays off, so a big thanks to all of you for being there and for providing this network of likeminded souls. |

Jayney, I feel the same way. I have little or no support for this way of eating in RL--my family and coworkers have written me off as a fanatic--so having people to talk with who not only understand but follow the same general principles is a life-saver, literally! This board is a treasure. I love y'all! |

Could not have done it with out you all and the help of this forum either everyone here has helped each other so much. For me it's the support that was given in my early start with the program that kept me going and not giving up. The rewards are truly a gift. Thanks to all. |

Yes, yes, yes............I agree. I was just saying this the other day too to the lady who made my appt for blood draw. I am continuously amazed at what I learn here. Until I started BTD and came to these forums, never in my wildest dreams did I have an inkling of how truly intricate our bodies are. I love to read something new all the time. Hard to retain it all, but still |

It is very rare to be able to go to an online forum and feel safe. I was very naive many years ago when I first went online. I went to a chat room at AOL with my normal e-mail screen name. Within two minutes, I was bombarded with sexually explicit e-mails, and they never stopped.
Therefore, I appreciate the design and precautions of this forum. When I first logged on to this forum, I was leery, but I've found it to be a safe place.
Thanks Dr. D, the moderators, the designers, and the members who keep it a safe place. |

I agree - I used to be extremly careful l- and seriously after all this time I have never had any problems with this place- I feel as safe as in my own village. And I miss all of you when I´m gone for a few days... It keeps me on the right track and I don´t feel like the only weirdo in the world What is best is that this is an international forum- I have learned so much about lifestyles in different types of the world |

Me too, Lola. I think it is awesome, and I am grateful. I am a firm believer that good leadership starts at the top. If a leader has rules and follows his or her own rules, then order follows. |

My thoughts, exactly. I am very thankful for this forum to be able to share my heartaches and get the support I needed to cope with my loss. My faith in the BTD was about to be depleated but because of the support from you folks to hang in there and your encouragement I can go on now. Thank you all!
