Mrs. T sent me a BTD tee shirt with “I’m Type B” on the front plus “9q34” and “What’s Your Type?” on the back along with A, B AB, &O plus the website. It was finally 80 deg on a Sunday!!!! I could wear my tee shirt without a sweater or a jacket. Plus I debuted my white “chicken” legs with shorts. I went to Fruitful Yield. The young clerk there had just returned to work 2 weeks ago after giving birth. She’s AB and her son is A. We had a long discussion about the BTD. Then I went to Trader Joes. After going into the bathroom, I saw I had the shirt on backwards, how embarrassing. But at the checkout counter I initiated a BTD discussion with the two guys by talking about the vegetarian pizza I bought for my son’s new girlfriend. She’s a Type A vegetarian. |

It's the address for the BT gene. See page 5 of Live Right:
Quoted Text
The Gene for ABO blood type is located on the q leg of chromosome number 9, around band 34.

Mrs. T, designed her own, I believe.
you could have yours done privately, too, locally. |

Mrs T from Chicago had them made for her family. She has all 4 blood types in her family. Then she had extras made and sent them to a few of us to help spread the word about the BTD. It's working.
If she doesn't read this post soon, I'll send her an e-mail letting her know that people are interested. |

Just remembered something about this..............I did write and ask Dr. D if it was okay to do this...........I seem to remember that he said as long as it was just for me. If I were going to sell them, that would be another matter. If my memory is failing me, I do hope he'll come along and correct things. |

You could wear them so singles nights at the grocery store & hook up with the blood type of your choice! |

O so fine! B mine! A okay! AB by any other name, is still as sweet!* I have me a one-of-a-kind BTD tee that was handcrafted by a very nice couple who used to grace the old message board. They are in my same area, we met for dinner once, and they brought me this fabu (and very colorful/vibrant) tee, to the tune of "Type O and loving it!", complete with a steak, a pumpkin, a piece of watermelon, and lots of other jazz festooning it. I still wear it from time to time. * edited to add: "I'm ABsolutely fabulous!" |

I just found this!! I had the shirts made at a t-shirt store next to my job. They need a little tweaking, but I like the basic designs I had. I first had them make 2 dozen Os, then I have had 2 dozen As, another set of Os, recently Bs, & eventually will make ABs. I have NOT sold any and I have been able to give them away. [ I don't want to deal with all the confusion of copywriting, taxes etc. for a few shirts. If I make them in the 1000s, that may be a different story.] Some friends took them, but I can tell are not convinced about the BTD. I wish I could afford to get them in larger quantities, but for now, this is what's up. I give Dr. D permission to copy my idea & sell them. I wish he would. This would be a good way to have fun & spread the word. I have several Bs I can send if someone wants one. Tell me your generic male size & I'll see if I can oblige. I guess it's not illegal if you want to send something for postage, but don't worry about it. I want to spread the word! Red Lilac, how is the color for you? I'm sorry it was too feminine for your son. I didn't intend it to be quite as rosy, but I bet most women would like it. BTW, the shirts are gray, with each blood type a different color. I made the O purple, as it is my current favorite color; the A green as it was my A son's favorite for years; the B red as it was B son's favorite before, & the AB blue as it is my husband's fave (He's an AB.). The front says: I'm an O; I'm an A; I'm type B; & will say I'm an AB. The back says,"What's your type?", then lists the letters, then the web site is at the bottom. The DNA numbers are on the front. I'll appreciate any feedback to improve the layout or you all can do your own. Let's get the word out!!!!!!! Another good use would be to give away at blood banks to donors. Also, maybe they can be available for order at the next IFHI conference!!!!! BTW, I'm wearing one of mine!! Cheers! Mrs "T" O+

PS Did Dr. D or his office ever get the shirts I sent in Jan.???
Hey, Italybound, a bag would be a great idea. Maybe we can get Whole Foods to make a biodegradable version like they sell. Better yet, let Dr. D have his own line of things--if the detractors don't accuse him of profiteering. What products shall be offered?--hats, shirts, shorts, all types of bags, socks, jackets/sweaters, scarves, date books, calendars, pillows, bumper stickers, mugs, jewelry----what other ideas?????????
How about a design contest with the prize being a trip to the next IFHI conference!! How else are some of us midwesterners going to get a chance to get there????
