Some time ago, I decided to buy a few of the Eating Right supplements. I couldn't afford it all, though. I bought one bottle of Respiratone, and it has been sitting on my shelf for a long time because I was doing other things.
Also some time ago, my eye doctor prescribed a bottle of Patenol for my red eyes from allergies. I had to admit it cleared up the redness. However, a bottle not much bigger than my thumbnail cost $60. I used it sparingly and just lived with the redness, especially when I would work out in my yard.
Lo and behold, today I noticed my bottle of Respiratone on the shelf. I decided to take one capsule before breakfast. Within one hour, the redness was gone from my eyes and face.
I used to think Respiratone was expensive, but it's a lot cheaper than Patenol. It worked better too because it also cleared up the redness in my face and cleared up my congestion.
I won't use it every day, but what a nice treat. |

Thanks for sharing that success story! I also really love that product, and find it to be a life-saver for a wide variety of upper respiratory issues. |

I really love Respiratone/Redoxa too!! But I have to say, goodness does it taste nasty!!! What in the world is in it that tastes like that? When you can 'taste' it and it's still in the capsule, wheww!!!!!!!!!! Works like a charm tho! |

I wasn't paying any attention to the smell; I just popped the capsule in my mouth. I just opened my bottle to check, and it does have quite an odor. Maybe someone here knows which ingredient creates that strong smell. |

It's not the smell that gets me, but the taste. It's very momentary, but blehhhhh, while it lasts. |

Redoxa is high in sulfur containing amino acids, which is what gives it such a pleasant aroma! |

Aha...that is too funny. Yes...the smell of Respiratone...my oldest daughter had come back from college last spring and I had sent her some supplements (just in labelled ziplox) and one of them was Respiratone. For a few weeks when you would walk into her room there was this awful smell. We finally pulled her packed box closet apart and found them. They immediately went back into the bottle. Debra P.S. And yes Victoria...they work wonders on respiratory issues. |

Lower respiratory as well. Any time I feel like bronchitis might be coming on, I take this. Works like a charm. Add some olive leaf and you're just about sure to kick it. |
