Just had to write something, though I keep thinking it may be premature.  I have been staying very compliant since early April and have been taking supplements for my ailments, most of which I have posted about and had lots of assistance for the great people here on this board.  I don't know if it just took a while to kick in, but it really feels like just in the last two months, even one month, all of a sudden I feel GOOD!!!  Now don't ask me what or which of the things have had a part in this, cause I don't know.  All I know is that I feel better than I have felt for probably five years.  The main problem was the damage from chemotherapy, neuropathy, lung damage, and arthritis.  The only complaint I still have is mild hip discomfort, I can't even really call it pain.  Someone was thoughtful and suggested I read a book about B12, and another person suggested I up my one lozenge in the morning to two, and ever since then, about two or three weeks now, I feel good.  Am eating so well, and enjoy planning, cooking and shopping for all the good things, I know they have a big part in it.  When I first started to follow ER4YT, I focussed on low carbs and lots of meat and neglected the vegetables.  Now I don't think about carbs, just trying to stay with the beneficials.  AND since early April, I have lost over 30#.  All I can say is Thank you to all, and especially to Dr. D for giving me my life back.  I honestly felt like it was over.  Most of all, I thank God for leading me here.  It is wonderful to feel good!  Bless you all!

Thanks for all your support.  I tell everyone I talk to with any health issues to check into it.  Once they see the difference in me from last year, they are impressed!  I am not going back from whence I came!!!

Thank you for sharing.  You give hope to others who may be suffering, and just beginning to make changes in the way they eat.

Yes Victoria, I just want to say to all who read this, do not give up hope.  Take one day at a time, and think positive.  Stay with the program.  I know that the arthritis and the neuropathy are right there ready to come back the moment I quit.  In the past, when I would feel good, I would think, 'I can eat that, I am ok now'.  But that is not the case.  We need to stick with it!!!

Thank you for your inspiring testimonial, trish44!  I think what you said about first concentrating on staying away from grains (especially the wheat and corn) and increasing meat consumption often overshadows O's as they start out on the BTD... I'm only 1.5 months into the BTD and am still working on getting my portions and servings balances & eating more veggies.  Some days I feel great & like it's really working, other days when I don't get the proportions right, I still feel a little low,  so it's really encouraging to read about how you worked to balance everything out and ended up with such great results!  Thanks again & keep on feeling great
