Crocs can be put in the washing machine on cold water cycle if they get full of dirt while mowing the grass
Once again, gcg, you provide news I can use!!! My black ones seemed to get very dirty very quickly, and you would think training the hose on them to rinse 'em off would do the trick, but I think running 'em through the cold-water cycle of the washing machine would really spiff 'em up! Thanks! For some reason, I wouldn't have thought of that. You need to move down here and become my life coach. The pay is terrible, but you would definitely be doing a public service. I need a full-time Mr. French sort of character (remember the "Gentleman's Gentleman" from the sixties sit-com "Family Affair"? Lord, I'm old.). You are kinda like Mr. French, only less formal, more able to do things yourself, way more fun, and you don't always speak in the plural.

Yes I remember the show . Don't think I could handle all the work elements of the role, I am an excellent cook, a poor housekeeper, have little patience with kids(think that saying"well what are you going to do about it" is the answer to 90% of kid drama). Yep my performance appraisal would be poor. PS my washing machine is a front loader and doesn't have one of those agitater thingies inside so try it with your oldest pair first if yours does.

One other Croc "con": long, sharp items such as Bougainvillea thorns and nails can penetrate the soft soles and getcha. Therefore, proceed with caution in, for example, Bougainvillea-intense areas.
