I am so pleased to no longer think that I must have meat during my evening meal!  As I get older, I have been liking meat less and less and before I found this book, I'd already eliminated everything except seafood and poultry.  

I love knowing that I can eat what I want to eat for dinner, like rice and beans or plain yogurt mixed with blueberries or toasted Ezekiel bread with peanut butter or scrambled eggs with mozzarella cheese.  

I was doing a low-carb diet before switching to this method and this is so much more tailored to what I naturally like and WANTED to eat.

I know I've said this before in other posts but I just wanted to say it again because I'm so pleased!

I love understanding more about myself as a type A.

That's so funny, because I was a Type O trying to do a high carb/low fat diet before BTD.  I knew I could eat meat and eggs without cholesterol problems, but was trying to follow accepted wisdom.  I was glad to find an explanation for why these foods worked for me, however I wasn't so happy about giving up some of my favorite cheeses.  I've found others to replace them, so the diet is working for me.
